Does anybody know who plays piano for this tune? I really like how he/she comps Art. I love Art Pepper's playing. When I get stuck in traffic, I can calm down by listening to his music. ピアニストは誰でしょうか？アートのサックスにかっこよく対応し­てますねえ。私もこんな風にバックアップできるピアニストになり­たいなあ。

ピアニストはラスフリーマンです。

「タンパのペッパー」においてもフリーマンは巧みなソロを披露し­ておりましたが、このアルバムでもソロにバッキングにと非の打ち­どころのないプレイに始終しております。

この時期ペッパーがこれだけの名演を残せたのはフリーマンの好サ­ポートに負うところが大きいのではないかと思います。

This kind of playing puts the whole human experience in perspective. All our dreams and loves and aspirations go swirling into free fall. As an Englishman I can state that over here we will never ever equal this kind of emotional expression. We get near, but that,s just not good enough.

I think you have a negative thought about this music by Art Pepper.

Of course I respect your opinion, but I think this was one of Art Pepper's best result in 50's.

Swingin along, trading 4s etc - you can't beat this kind of music. I keep coming back to it time and again. It always sounds fresh to me, yet put on somethin from say ,the 70s eg ELP and it sounds old and stuck in its era. This stuff is timeless. and valuable.
