Hey, i just wanted to ask, i have the same ones, but i see a white ring in my vision. Especially when i look at direct light. Does this happen to you? Please respond
@3g00fy4 I bought these contacts 2 years ago, but I do remember that if I was in a room with a lot of light then it was a little bit blurry around the edges. When it was darker I could see perfectly.
@mjerlo Did they ever get comfortable? I had natural color purple ones, and i wore them the whole school day and they didn't bother me at all. But when i recently wore them on halloween, my eyes were completely burning.:/ Very unhappy with them.
@mrbrufu This pair specifically was $25 Canadian, including the shipping and taxes. You can go to the website that I list in the description to check them out.
Im having the same issue... I never wear contacts! Did you end up getting used to them and being able to wear them for the night? Was your vision blurred at all???
Do contacts hurt or do anything bad to you because I wanna wear them for Hollowween and normaly whats the caues and how to use them please reply (anyone) I will subscibe to you!
@firedigimon99 When I first put them in, one eye hurt a little bit but I think I may have just had a piece of fluff on them or something because I took it out, rinsed it in contact solution and put it back in and then they were fine. The next time I put them in they were completely fine. I don't normally wear contacts, only on Halloween so they took a bit of getting used to before I could comfortably wear them out as they do not act the same as a regular contact.
@firedigimon99 Contacts are perfectly safe for you to wear recreationally. Just make sure you get the non-prescription kind as anything with a prescription will be blurry (like wearing your friends glasses) If you are serious about wearing contacts, practice touching your eye by washing your hand thoroughly with liquid soap and water. If you use bar soap you will find that the residue hurts really bad. Hold your eye open and touch the whites of your eyes without blinking, it is pretty simple!
@tigerpaws111 I find that because the contacts are opaque and if there is a direct light shining on you, your vision is a little blurry around the edges but if you're going to a Halloween party it's most likely going to be dark so you should be okay. I wore them to the bar last year for a Halloween party and I was okay driving there and back as well.
@GraeSkiesSiastra Yes, you can definitely order these contacts without needing glasses. They are not prescription... so it's actually better if you don't need glasses lol.
Thanks so much for the reply and advise. I'm gonna wear them all week before Halloween to get more used to them. Also, I love love love ur zombie girl make up but my skin got irritated with the white makeup. Do u do all ur halloween make up with the white base or do u think it'll look just as good without the white base?
It could look pretty good, but for a zombie you might want to pale out your face anyway. I would suggest using a concealer or foundation (that will not irritate your skin) and then dust on a white shadow or baby powder to at least pale out your face beyond what a regular skin colour would look like...
I have the all white contacts that I'm prob gonna wear this Halloween but I've noticed the light bothers my eyes Bad... I notice u said they bothered u a bit, did u get used to them?
The day of this video they were bothering my eyes super bad, my eyes actually still felt weird after I took them out.
But then, I did another video where I did Zombie makeup, and I put them in and was even doing makeup and stuff for about an hour, and then I kept them in for another hour or so and they didn't bother me one bit.
I think the problem, as I mentioned in my "Spiral Eyes" video is that when you're in a bright light your eyes are not dilated, so the pupil is very small. That seems to make things a bit blurry. When it's even the slightest bit dark though, it seems to be okay. So if you're heading out to a Halloween party somewhere, you should be fine. I'd bring the contacts case just to be sure so that you can take them out, just in case.
Yeah I know... I think I said Marylin Manson "White Out" contact in the last vid, but I forgot that I didn't actually order those ones, I changed my mind and ordered these instead because I think they will work better for my costume. They look enough like a pair of zombie-ish eyes right? LOL they were a lot creepier in person I think... or so I'm told be everyone who saw them.
Sorry for the horrible quality vid... I taped it before going out to show my boyfriend the contacts and I didn't turn on the light lol I brightened it up the best I could but it's still pretty bad.
