  • She is only talking about the egoic mind right?? I mean, how can it be the whole mind. We cant possibly turn off the whole mind and not think. Even wanting to do that is a thaught.

  • @LopidoEmeraldFlame Yes, I am only talking about the egoic mind, the aspect of mind that comments on life (the voice in our head), not the functional or practical mind that we use to read, calculate, design, follow a map, etc. That functional mind is a tool we pick up and use--it doesn't talk to us in our head. Thanks for helping me clarify this. --Gina Lake

  • @Nirmalanow And I thank you for taking the time to clearify:) I am struggeling a little with which thaughts are egoic and untrue. For example, if I see something for what it is and think about it through thaught that would still be true right. Even though it has become egoic in the sense that you start attaching time and feelings to it by thinking about it. So by examening the thaught it can become egoic. if you only examine it that means you are not thinking egoic, you are just examining it?

  • @LopidoEmeraldFlame Probably 90% of our thought is not necessary. The other 10% is necessary and therefore appropriate. We need to read directions, for instance, or calculate travelling time, etc. There are all kinds of instances where thought is necessary. It's just that most of it isn't., - especially when it comes to imagined fears or insults that are held onto and regurgitated by the mind. Krishnamurti explains that thought is absolutely unnecessary in relationships.

  • The imitation of ego is the limitation of the material life. The material life is to allow the understanding and experience of being consiousness, the experience is to allow the understanding of creation. Ego is the Senses we Experience in the material world. Once we have achieved every understanding of our senses and ego, we then realise we need to detatch from it in order to connect with the infinate consiousness. The infinate consiousness is our creator.

  • excellent words.

  • WOW, what an incredible woman! I'm pausing this tape to run upstairs to grab a bottle of wine and have her take me away with her words of wisdom.

  • @haviwon lol..I am having a wine right now, so far so good..thxx

  • loved this video about intuitiion . I had this sooo strong for these 3 weeks when I once realized...heh, I am not the mind, not a thinker, not stupid, not smart....etc etc......and then I realized that this body/mind thing was conducted by God or essesnse,so I only needed to be aware/present of divinity in me and around me.

  • So, our limited thinking gets us into our experiences. Our hearts direct us out? Our thoughts can`t follow where we go. That is, no cognative process can explain our experiences. So we are to learn how to let our heart guide us ?

  • we are apart of the experience.

    We are Nature occuring.

You mention to be guided, but where do you "need" to be?

There is no specific place you need to be, where you go is where you go. All thru the spontaneity of reality and your mind...unlimited freedom at its finest.

  • Gina, thank you so much for sharing ...
