There is historical evidence to prove the Church is correct man. Ever heard of Pliny the Younger? There are also countless other writings dating back to the first and second century that back the Church. Check out Ignatius of Antioch. WE DO NOT WORSHIP IDOLS RON! We look at a statue of Our Lady for example, visualise whom we're actually praying to, and then pray directly to Her. Why is this so difficult for you to understand my friend?!

The Second commandment in the Bible states that we shall have no other gods before Him and that we shall not make for ourselves an idol. By praying through a statue we are neither praying to another god and neither are we praying to an idol.
If you take the Bible so literally Ron, then you might aswell go and kill all those who commit adultery for example, as that's what's written in the Old Testament!

No difference Ron, same version exactly. I answered by writing a synthesis instead of quoting the entire commandment. My opint still stands. We pray THROUGH the statues not to them ok? Now this practise dates back to the Early Christians. Once you claimed that these Early Christians were "murdered" by the Catholics eh? Well, there you have it then. They were heretics aswell. Stop covering your eyes with the lies the media spouts and do some good, solid research, obtain the data, analyse it, and finally compare the results. The Catholic religion has facts to prove itself. It is also the 1st Christian religion from which the other denominations broke off (e.g. Protestants, Lutherans, Calvinists, etc...). And about us worhsipping statues. As I have probably already explained earlier on during our debate, we DON'T worship the statue itself, we simply use it as an aid to help us visualise whom we're worshipping/praying to. That is not idolatory as we are not praying to the statue itself, which in that case would be a sin.
