Shes's partly right, you know. Diesel railcars were only built for passenger service - their frames and engines wouldn't be able to take the weight, you know. The only thing they can pull are other railcars. But, judging by her paintwork, she seems to be one of the early single-unit prototypes, which, in turn, COULD be upgraded to be fully operational mix-traffic engines.

Why can't those MORONS at HIT! go back to producing episodes based on the Railway Series? There were so many tales by the Rev W. Awdry and Christopher Awdry that were left untouched! And these were by FAR the best episodes!

Surely Hit! can understand and appreciate that more can be done with the series today by going back to its roots. If not basing today's episodes on the original stories, than at least focusing on proper arcs and the original charm of Thomas.
