Qualcuno sa perché Zeffirelli ha scelto di far terminare il film in maniera diversa dal libro? E' un film meraviglioso, ma alla fine mi aspettavo (avendo letto il romanzo anni fa) di vedere la povera Maria morire con i petali di rosa sulle labbra... Il finale del libro sostiene che "si PUO' morire per amore".

Whith her own choice she lets it go!Ending is what makes this movie so brilliant!to really understend the story u have to go through with her,u only went through whith her love and passion and not the faith thet's why u found it so depressing..this movie is more then a "love story"that's why it's so unique.
I know it... and I prefer not make comments on what you said, I could be misunderstood by anyone who reads my words, but I think that religion in general should extol human virtues, not repress them!

L'idea di mettere qualche filmato è scaturita proprio da non averne trovati altri di questo film qui su youtube, ora oltre a me c'è anche MademoiselleVv che ha fatto un bellissimo montaggio video!
"Quando qualcuno ama come io amo te,questa fiamma arderà nel cuore e nello spirito fichè avremo vita" Questa è sicuramente la frase più struggente di tutto il film ed è la mia scena preferita..grazie per aver messo questa parte di film ^_^
