  • @bukm2001 people who are healthy not a fat fuck like u

  • @sHiTcOcK1000 i fucked your mom in the ass

  • I really wanted to see him cut himself during 0:55 to 0:59

  • He looks so pissed to have his time wasted by making a video in how to cut... a tomato...

  • Next episode : how to breath

  • @MrChocolate7777 not funny, good try tho

  • Good. And you didn't wash the knife after sharpening it, just using the towel doesn't get all the steel molecules off the blade.. (when you sharpen it obviously they fall off or stick to the blade waiting to be washed out.)

  • they make it look so professional, but it is not, knife sharpening was more useful to me

  • doesn't sharpening your knife wear it down and cause metal debri to come off

  • BORING ! ! !

  • @dukieboy007 i'd like to see u do better :P

  • In most supermarkets these days, the problem is getting tomatoes that are ripe and with some flavor, inasmuch as most are picked green and then placed in a gas chamber to induce the red color associated with ripeness.

  • omfg that sound! 0:50

  • omg i love this video

  • You are from the where? lol

  • WOW he shaves dat knife GOOD ILL GIVE IT 100% LOL... ^o^

  • I can't even slice butter like that!!

  • use a knife

  • the most important part here is having a razor sharp knife

just wanna put that out there

  • Hes pretty good, no Gordon Ramsey but still good

  • @1Hawk2Hawks ah great thanks for letting me know then because that's what my chef's tell me every time that not to wash my steel because it my ruin the magnetic molecules O.O and yeah practice on honing your knives so that in the end you won't chip it

  • Someone get me a utility knife!

  • the truth is theres no good way to tomato into full circle, thin, even slices.

slicing your tomatos after halving them makes it quicker, easier and more even.

  • i bet sharp knifes will also really help cutting off fingers

  • this guy doesnt waste any movement, his every action is so purposeful

  • thumbusup!!! if u have revisited this video like me 5th time to see the tomatoes being cut so epicly !!!

  • NOW I UNDERSTAND WHY MY TOMATOES WAS LIKE I KILLED THEM..IT'S THE KNIFE..XD AND MY TECHNIC :P

  • wow, just realised how rubbish my knives are :S

  • he speaks like ALBERTO DEL RIO !!!

  • Hiii....my name is Moth Bawl.....??????

  • Lesson learned fellow cooks and chefs. Always hone your blades before slicing anything. Working with a dull knife is dangerous because it might slip or generally and automatically injure you.

  • @R3DR3APER I would agree... It only shapes it but once the sharpness of the blade wears out or becomes dull. You have to visit the manufacturer's smith to sharpen the blade again. Because that's what the steel does. It only hones/grazes the steel into a sharp blade. The stone will actually reduce the metal on the knife. Oh sure your knife will be sharp but it would be ugly! xD

  • Sharpening a knife OVER the food is the most retarded thing I've ever seen. essentially serving the tomato with tiny metal particles.

  • @ZeRo2545 He's just honing the steel. There are no metal bits falling anywhere... -.- if your sharpening your knives in stone then that's where you'll find metal pieces all over but the steel hones it... It shapes the steel into having a sharp edge and you don't wash the steel... You wash only your knives. Because once the steel is washed the magnetic properties of the steel might wash of or rust away... Stop hating hater!! And try it at home if you see bits of metal on your board

  • @ToyamaMatsuki I wasn't hating, but thanks for the enlightenment.

  • @ToyamaMatsuki if you dont know how to use a steel or use it wrong youll exualy end up chipping your knife ,and yes a stone does take som metal off but only 1 nmm you cant even see it. and i dont know where you learnd chemstry but you cant wash away magnetic properties.metal is magnetic becouse of it moncule form magnets excite thes moncules makeing it stick to it.so i wish you good luck whit washing off moncules

  • I really wish he would show us how to slice it they way it's portrayed in the image before you watch the video. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. I don't want little half baby slices, just wondering what the proper way to get full, round, thin slices is.

  • This video is fake!

  • Why doesn't he just make a video on how to get a good knife. this was so basic it scares me how stupid people are now . . .

  • WHAT!? Why am I watching a video 'bout how to slice a freakin' tomato ???

  • thats sharp!

  • WOW. Now thats a sliced tomato!!! Cucumber next?

  • Somethings look and smell bad are. Somethings look and smell bad are not. Some things look and taste good are. Something that look and taste good are not. Allergies are a different matter.

  • now my mom bought me 3 umd s becuase she didnt buy a miracle blade

  • can someone teach me how to drink water please.

  • @real4real1960 i'm sorry,, i don't know how too :(

  • @real4real1960 - Enjoy feeling superior. I knew how to slice a tomato - but I'd never seen that particular method for taking out the core. So I learned something useful. So thank you to the chef.

  • @real4real1960 - Someone hasn't seen "expert" village's "how to use a santoku" video.

  • @eregor1451 hahaha classic

  • sharp

  • he sliced his knuckle before

  • Holy fucking sharpness.

  • My blade can cut through armor! And still slice a tomato...

  • Did he say his name was Mothballs??

  • @eregor1451 Haha, no his name is Marc Bauer, that's what it says at 0:42

  • scare or not,he helped me!!! :)

  • fuck that knife cuts the tomato like hot butter (not melted butter warm to semi hard butter) LOL

  • i have nothing to do with foods but its just makes me feel good to watch it

  • Also, how to sharpen a knife.

  • he scares me

  • Thats why it takes so fucking long time at those expensive resturants...

  • lol I can totally see this guy being the torture expert of a bad guy in a James Bond. All explaining to you how he's going to use this knife to torture you.....

  • Why can't we use the SAME FUCKING KNIFE?!

  • My only problem is that he sharpens towards his body, that is something you dont want to teach, even if YOU perform it safely

  • My name is Mothball???

  • This is helpful, and I like his presentation. Also the knife wiping is a great practice.

  • Ceramic knives thats how !!!

  • Really

  • Those are not simple knives. Those are expert CIRURGIC equips.

  • in soviet russia tomato slices you

  • I wish my knives were that sharp..

  • Thanks again CHEF, we all have our own way of slicing & dicing but i like yours better.

  • the man's epicness scares me

  • is it just me, or did he hone his knife the wrong way?

  • @arg13415 Many people say it's the correct way. Personally, I like my fingers attached :P

  • @arg13415 It's just you. He's doing it the right way.

  • @arg13415 Honing doesn't really have a proper technique. Granted there is a correct angle that it needs to be held, but I have seen many chefs hone their knife in different ways. Just try a few ways and see what is most comfortable to you.

  • very useful.. thank you.
