It was filmed in October, very close to Male, on a spot called for obvious reasons "manta point" close to Lankan Island. Seems we were very lucky as the mantas were mating then (An it was our first dive on our trip to Maldives!)
yes, they are awesome...and underwater goggles make you see everything a 30% bigger, so when you are there you just can stare an think "whoaaaaaa", LOL.

mmm, in some places it was recovering. We found some areas of total destruction an some with the coral in good shape.
