Race- Cadillac XLR-V gets smoked by 2007 Jeep SRT-8 .. 15-70ish

the race was just starting...all wheel drive jeep will obvioulsy get ahead of a rear wheel drive xlr, had it gone another 10 seconds I dont think the outcome wouldve been the same.

looks to me they were neck in neck. The jeep started quicker as they werent all in step. But when the caddy started, the jeep didnt run away with it, he was just ahead to start with. Id like to see a fair comparison from a stop. And without traffic ahead so they had to slow down.

Look, I'm apologizing on the behalf of my idiot brother. Who, I let for some stupid reason use my screen name. He doesn't own or will never own a cts-v. I watched this video myself, after finding the responces on my e- mail. I'm not a mopar fan myself but that jeep is bad ass. He must not have caught this but I did i heard you sayin you were driving for 12 hrs yeah I would have been pretty tired too. again please accept this and i will make sure he doesn't do this again.

No need for an apology, we all have our own opinions. The Jeep SRT-8 is a car that most people don't know about.

A 12 hr drive had nothing to do with me, the driver, as I was fine and pretty amped up. It was the car had been driven pretty hard for those 12 miles, just filled up with gas, and I had a bunch of heavy stuff in the trunk that was brought down from VA.

The video is what it is. I lost against that jeep, which runs an 11.8 1/4 mile.

You can race a Veyron against that Jeep and still lose...If you dont hit the gas pedal. U can tell the gas pedal wasnt pushed when the 420ft/lbs of torque in a 440hp coupe didnt raise the car up.

First of all, I am the driver and I do know how to drive.. If you see my video, I own a JeepSRT myself.

The xlr-v is stock, and has been to the track.

The jeep is NOT stock and will run 12.2 at the track. Clearly it is faster.

Another thing, the XLR had about 500lb of stuff in the trunk. (I drove it from VA to my FL house to leave it down there and brought some heavy stuff from home)

No reason to be one of those youtube assholes who acts like they are 15.

That's a load man I just saw an xlr v do 0 to 260 in like 28 seconds and most of the time it was in the 200 mph range either you were screwing around or can't drive there's no way that a jeep beat that car.

I myself also own the same model Jeep, and you obviously haven't done any research about it.

Trust me, I can drive both of my cars. The xlr did 13.2 at the track stock, and the Jeep did 13.2 as well stock.

The black jeep is modded as well, so it purely took me and beat me.
