I agree The Sabbath is Friday sundown to Saturday Sundown. The history you gave on your other sabbath to sunday thread though is not real history. All you have is roman Catholic quotes. Constantine did not change the Sabbath to sunday . I once believed that he did too, but ignatiux and other Early church fathers speak about the Lords day vs Sabbath in the 1st century, before John wrote Revelation. Aprox 250 years before Constantines' edict. Centuries before there was a roman Catholic church.

Have you noticed that all you have is catholic statements, and no real history? That is what I learned real fast. There is no history to back up these false catholic statements yet sda wrongly use them as proof. Study the early church fathers like Ignatious 300 yrs before the R C church existed

I was wondering how you interpret commandment number two. Is it just a matter of not worshipping an idol or is it wrong to own any object that resembles God or animals or people?

It's about not worshipping idols mainly. We shouldn't have worship objects around, and I have friends who don't have any animal images b/c they see it as idolatry. I would say that any object that is connected to worship in some way get rid of. Statues of people you don't need b/c they tend to be idolized. But a moose head in the garage I don't see what's wrong with that if it's not worshipped.

hmmm, which ten commandments? Ever read Exudus 34? Please, please, please, don't cook a kid in its mother's milk.

Also, have you noticed that, although you say the 10 commandments are the basis of our law, very few of them made it into the law (thank the founding fathers). How can both be true?

I believe we are to keep all of God's commands in the torah/law of Moses Ex. 34 etc.

Don't cook a kid in it's mothers mild was a pagan practice to other gods, not to be done. It doesn't mean you can't eat milk and meat together. Lieing, stealing, cheating, these are upheld in court, you can be punished for doing them.

Thats fine, just make sure when you make a huge marble statue of the 10 commandments,and try to put it in a courtroom or a classroom, you include this one. After all, read Ex 34.28, THESE are the ones that the bible call "the ten commandments".

It says, "And he was there with YHWH forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments." What Moses did to get the 10 commands fasting for 40 days, is not part of the 10 commands.

Although some people still do fast for that long.

He is all knowing, but He still has feelings about how you feel towards Him, He knows your thoughts, and He likes it when your thoughts = love towards Him.

When does he feel this? Is it on a liner timeline? if I get angry at god one year, then (seeing the error of my ways)love him next year. Which feeling did he react to and when? Was it all together? Can he have negative feelings and positive ones at the same time?

You should never get angry at God, but love Him continually. God exists outside of time, so He can have many emotions reacting to different events which we see happening at once, but to Him He has infinite time to express emotions.

I haven't seen any of his emotions but that is besides the point. Does god experience his own version of time or does he not experience it at all? why does he refer to himself as the alpha and omega if he is not linear? Does he continue after the end? If so, then he is linear isn't he?

I don't know what God experiences. I am not Him. That's just a phrase that's like saying He is the first and the last, really there is no end to Him, but it just means He starts all things and finishes them.

He puts words like first and last so we can partly understand Him in this way, but He has no beginning or end.

There is no end, b/c He dwells outside of time and space, but that means that He is before all things and will continue to exist after the current age we are in ends.

So what he really ment was that he creates the Alpha and Omega in this universe in this dimension. But he isn't really the Alpha and omega.  But this brings us back to what I said before. If he is "outside of time" then how can he react to us on our linear timeline with emotions? In one post you say God can have different emotions at "different times" then in another you say "I dont know what God experiences" Which is it?

It means God is the impetus, or the one used to bring the beginning and end of all things we know, yes. He is the Alpha and Omega, meaning, the beginnging and end of all things that we see existing.

But He Himself is eternal.

He is God, All Powerful.

I know He can experience different emotions at different times b/c the Bible says so. He weeps, laughs, etc.

But how He comes in and out of time, He is in another dimension and comes into ours.

Sure in this dimension or life he is the end of worldy things. It just would have been clearer to me if it was written like" I bring the alpha and omega" Not "I am the alpha and omega". Where in the bible does it say he shifts in and out of our dimension? Does he experience emotions in this dimension only? or while he is outside of time also? If so which emotions does he experince and at what time? If I do something that makes god mad now...when does he get mad about it? right away?

Yea. I believe He wrote it like that to show that as the "I AM" He is in and through all things, all things exist in Him, including creation and created time frames.

God is eternal, so for one, it says that Yeshua/Jesus is the Lamb slain before the foundations of the world.

That is not possible unless He exists eternally outside of time and entered at a specific place to do things etc. It says He weeps, laughs, and experiences emotions in that dimension as well. It's hard for us to think about it, b/c we live inside of time. It's like He's watching a moving and can rewind it to any place and laugh or cry at that place in the movie. We are in the movie and can only do one thing at a time basically.

That is a very interesting way to put it. I have never heard it explained that way to me before. however to say that it is a movie is to say that it is scripted. If it is scripted it eliminates choice. Choice is linear. and to watch a recording is to say that he exsists in the future of things, after the fact. So then...he isnt outside of time...just in the future?

To a degree, yes, the Bible records the beginning from the end in a beautiful script. We have choice but somehow God intervenes in this world in such a way as to bring His ultimate plan to pass. He knows what we will choose ahead of time (like He's played the movie). He knows the future, but I AM or the ETERNAL means He is always in the present, to God it's just like 'NOW' more than future, past, or present.
