The main difference between the two is Tim has way higher speed while Joey tends to not play at this high speed especially double bass wise. Joey then also has much more varied rhythms while Tim enjoys blasts and using double bass and ride a lot. Skill wise they both great!

Why oh why!!! Does every metal band have to do those goofy clean choruses! Seriously, its not getting you anymore fans. I dont mind clean vocals mixed in but please put some balls into it. I was already googling this band to read about more and then those clean vocals kicked in and I was like "oh." Musically this is great, but vocals honestly can ruin it a great deal for me.

@TheHorrorAnthem Not to be controversial, but Cazares and FF invented the whole 'ultra brutal verse clean uplifting vocal' thing. When SOANM came out it was brand new. Nobody had done anything remotely like it, thus, you kinda get the idea Dino likes it. I'd also say, that despite both FF & DH being very 'hard' bands musically, they have an extremely rare, forceful uplifting quality to them. Something rara in metal. I guess either listen or dont. But Dino did it first.

I listen to a lot of artists that arent even metal but I still dont want them sounding emo or weak or just plain bad. I think the chorus in this song takes it from mean to basically pop, it sounds awful in my opinion.

I'm not a huge fan of Divine Heresy, but I am a huge fan of Dino Cazares. He is one of the catchiest riff writers of the past fifteen years, and saying that Divine Heresy is shit because it sounds like deathcore / metalcore (lol?) is just ignorant. If you throw Burton C. Bell in this band, then it's Fear Factory but with more technicality and solos.

This song is fantastic, though. Only song I actually really like by Divine Heresy.
