nah they are like the ones on the volvo. they are set to do that as in every bin there is nothing more than a couple of carrier bags worht of rubbish and sometimes in doesnt come out
there is a switch on the side where you can put them on 0 1 or 2 shakes of the bins we always have ours on maximum and still have to use the manual override
in ur village do u get delivered a roll of sacks every now and then cos in some places in wycombe eg flats or restricted access areas also get purple sacks delivered. theres a vid of them on my area
