I have become a fan. This is such a beautiful cover of this tune and as a pianist I totally get how hard it was for you to come up with an arrangement on guitar. As laura did it on piano..the arrangement never overwhelmed the lyric and melody and you have achieved that. Keep listening to Laura.. she will inspire all the music you make in your life.

So glad someone your age has discovered the genius of Laura Nyro ... I was introduced to her when I was in high school by a friend Sandy Arnold and bought Christmas and the Beads of Sweat and New York Tendaberry in a bargain bin and wore them out ... they were 8 track tapes so that gives away my age... stay listening to her ... my only regret is that I never got to see her perform live before she passed away

@sssteve Aha! Another Laura-Joni fan! Most Laura fans are also Joni fans (and they tend to be slightly partial to Laura). But a lot of Joni fans are unaware of Laura. These tend to be the Joni fans that like "Big Yellow Taxi" and "River". But we know that real Joni fans love the material from "For the Roses" and "Hejira", right?
