@903davesharonpoky They didn't have the internet and things like that to find out what group names were taken. A lot of records were only distributed within the cities they were recorded in. And in most cases, there weren't many pressed, so there could very well have been two groups with the same name in the very same city.
There were so many groups with the name The Accents. Why is that?
