@TheOutkast4ever All Whammy Bars cn be removed by simply unscrewing them counter clockwise, The Whammy Bar changes the sound , or chord your playing by pulling the strings from the bridge of the guitar Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan and countless others have used the Whammy Bar for expression. These Squire Strats are great guitars but the Whammy Bar on this particular bridge causes the strings to stretch and go out of tune.
