About the fight controversy, T-Rex had powerful jaws, useless arms and hands. It is very likely that T-rex was a scavenger and did not hunt what so ever. Spino had large useful arms, hands, and legs, common jaws, severly sharp teeth, and speed. Do the math.

agreed, t-rex is no predator compared to a velociraptor. tyranosaurus was an ambush predator --- his large weight meant that he gained so much speed in his initial charge, that he would only be able to go in for one strike.

I don't like Spino either. And people, you have to read the book to understand. In the book, one of the earliest (and most tame) problems is that most of the dinosaurs don't show themselves. Although it would be cool if you could get a shot of the Rex eating the goat.
