no they got their shit from DJ Screw & Michael 500 Watts and the like. I dunno if VVM heard that Houston Chopped & Screwed rap stuff before doing his work or not, but it certainly predated him with the first "Screw" tapes coming out in like 1994 when DJ Screw would slow down and tweak out popular rap songs for the simple joy of making them more hallucinogenic.

THANK YOU for posting this. There was another video where the audio was synced to match up with a live De Burgh performance. I was devastated when I realized that video had been deleted, and elated to have now found it again!
