Spencer would have to completely devolve for them to even have a chance at catching him. Dude's a genius, he's well versed on just about every serial killer under the sun AND he's FBI. He knows all the forensic counter measures and could keep tabs on the investigations. He'd be Frank part II, only better...(Frank only got caught b/c he got fixated on Jane but before that he killed and got away with it for years). Plus, good as the team is, more often than not, its Reid that cracks the case.

Reid would make an interesting and possibly hard to catch unsub, considering his IQ, his knowledge of the BAU/FBI, the entire workings of his mind. Even in an interview if I remember correctly MGG was stating how he would like to see or could even see Reid becoming an Unsub at some point.

I always thought that would be a good way to end the show when the time comes. Have them trying to track a killer over the last season and never getting close enough.
