@Dramactica It's about the same as the Japanese version of the opening. This song is about not giving up, which is about what half the episodes are based around since the Earth team are usually behind the other teams and are pretty isolated. If you look at the english translation of the Japanese lyrics, they're saying pretty much the same thing only using more words.

As I said, the Japanese version just isn't intense enough to describe this series. It's not bad or anything, just too light.

It wasn't popular before, this was originally a manga run by Tokyo Pop, and the anime was originally run by some actual anime company!

Ugh... The Japanese OP and ED were much more awesome than THIS.

In the Danish dub, they put the Japanese OP and ED in it. I'm disappointed that the English dub didn't follow suit.

@MrDJMarmalade hay I like this opening at lest its not just the same interchangeable J pop that most animes open with... the one that can be swapped on almost any show and still be just as fitting. this is more like actual music that ppl who aren’t Japanifiles listen 2... and as some one who has lived and been brought up in Japan I can say not at all like the romantic image you bring up in your head... I’m not saying that the Japanese intro is bad its just this fits better IMO

And I really think you should think before speaking, 'cause not all J-pop songs are all about love, this song in particular has NOTHING to do with love, so I think you should look up the translation and THEN say this one fits better.

And what do you mean "this is more like actual music"? J-Pop is just as interlectual when bothered t see translations! Jeez!

@MrDJMarmalade um if you read what I said (not that allot of what i right make sense mind you ;D) I have nothing against J pop it is music but were talking about a UK and American viewers that most will not listen 2 J pop at all but I can safely say that most will have the odd classic rock song that they like... I have heard the translation and yes that song is very much written for the show but I still feel that the more pumped and over the top power cords of this song fits the show better...
