Amazing (: Duke is beautiful! I was wondering if using a clicker to train is necessary/easier? And what do you offer him in the video after he obeys? Thank you!
@kiliparrot helow..im new at training birds..can you please send me a link too in training my parakeet? is it necessary to only have 1 parakeet? or can i train two birds at the same time?
@kiliparrot can you teach me how to do that with a budgie or your senegal kili cuz I have a budgie and I wanna teach him this thanks and did you clip his wings for a while, and when you clip do you clip one or two wings?
@AshayLol I already PMed you a link to some training resources that will teach you how to do it. Duke was clipped when we bought him but he was growing his primaries in when this video was recorded. We later realized it wasn't really necessary for him to be clipped. I've been training my Cape Parrot Truman to fly and do tricks and he was never clipped.
where you you get the free standing perch from, can you point me in the direction of any online stores, i cant find them here in petstores or on trademe
@TheLorikeetLover I built them myself. They are sturdy, free standing, and adjustable height. I'm willing to make 2 for $100 + shipping. Who's buying? :p
@Hsmfan4ever01 I just put my hand out (higher then where the bird is) and called for it, and then you can give it a treat :) It's so cute when it flyes to your hand ^^

Cute! Great example to show that little birds do NOT have to live their lives in their cage!
