  • Harper = ZioNazi Pig

    Ignatieff =ZioNazi Pig

    NDP? = Another ZioNazi Pig

  • canadians have spoken they donot trust the liberals anymore have lied too many times in the past. called an election canadians didnot want. the largess of government spending and high taxation are killing canadian families. western european socialism has failed and canadians are waking up to this fact. multiculturalism is a myth. harper seemed the best choice to not capsize the boat.

  • Protecting the north from who?? Oh yah the USA. Russia will never do this. Don't let Harp fool you. He has become a very polished liar. PS the budget was fine till Harp started spending money.

  • I am still waiting for the data about the solar power deal the libs have invested in. Talk about hiding information.

  • Harper is a jackass. He should be canned

  • Harper and his conservatives are out...they're done. They've put us through enough and it's time to get Canada back on track and bring down the deficit once again. Every-time the Cons are in, they burden us down with debt (and misrepresent it while in office) . Time to keep them out until they learn how to be more cooperative and accountable. They need to learn about ethics.

  • the conservatives are so desperate to stay in power there willing to spend taxpayers money on propaganda ads....ads just like the nazis used to do.

  • @brian7125 ingantieff is so desperate to GET INTO power that he wants to call an election, just as we are recovering form the depression, anyone who beleives ignatieff is in it for anybody else than himself is a complete and utter jackass.

  • @zazszdzfzgzhzjzkzlzx Oh, it can't possibly have anything to do with Harper having repeatedly broken the law, and lied to Parliament? Or Harper's extremely wasteful spending? Or Harper being totally out to lunch about whether or not we were ever in a recession??

  • @BoredomCorner they didnt lie, what happened is there were two different cost projections for the F-35 fleet, 9 billion, and 16 billion, so of course the Conservative picked 9 billion and the liberals picked 16 billion, so when they went to debate it, the rest of the parties took the liberal side, and said that the Conservatives were 'not forthcoming with info' about the price, when they were just given the info from lockheed martin, and so were the liberals. And how werent we in a resession?

  • @zazszdzfzgzhzjzkzlzx Do you want our pilots flying 30 year old fighters? We had to beg and borrow in the past just to get our soldiers moved from place to place. The Liberal allowed our military to rot into almost nothingness and thank god the conservatives came along and saved them. We now have just over 50,000 men and women in our military, still a joke in the international community, even Libya has 300,000 men.

  • @justanoldman1 Actually, I hate the liberals, and always cheer for Conservative, and our military is no were near a joke, yes its "small" but the training and equipment is second to none, ya libya has 300,000, but their training and equipment is garbage. If you did just a little bit of research you would realize that our soldiers are some of the most feared and well-equipped soldiers in Afghanistan. AND we have about 65,000 and growing fast, not 50,000.

  • @zazszdzfzgzhzjzkzlzx And Harper wants to spend billions of our dollars on even more garbage -- planes that no one else wants, because they don't work.

  • @BoredomCorner oh ya? so you are on the f-35 development team? you know every detail about the planes progress? But who am I to question? Ill take your word for it, you MUST know what your talking about.

"planes that no one else wants" < ya only Canada, US, UK, Italy, The Netherlands, Turkey, Denmark, Norway and Australia are buying and developing them.

  • @justanoldman1 I don't want our pilots to use planes with worse range, than what we currently use.

  • Harper doesn't tax and spend. He spends, spends more and spends some more, then borrows.

Don't worry, your children can pay the bills for the big corporations who mostly benefit from his tax cuts.

  • J'espère (I hope) que Harper va obtenir (will obtain) sa majorité (his majority).

  • YOU LIE!!! So visiting the artic twice and not inviting the native leaders to join you constitutes standing up for the north? you're a hypocrite who's in bed with the socialists NDP and separtists PQ.

  • @TheCaptainCanada Harper's been in bed with the NDP and PQ as well, what's your point?

  • I love all the thumbing down the scared sheeple do.

You notice that the rational crowd never thumbs down comments as it would simply remove the argument and create a dishonest presentation of the opinion.

It only takes 6 frightened uneducated fools to remove a comment from the light of the forum.

If you really truly believe your point of view, then let it stand against a competing idea to see if it truly can measure honestly.

Otherwise you are no better than those who would burn books.

  • The sooner this piece of dog shit is gone the better, I don't care who replaces him at this point. Fuck conservatism.

  • C'mon Steve, We need a majority this time.

This may be your last kick at the can...

    Get her done.

  • I second everything the PM said. The Conservative must become a majority government by the end of the next election or it will be a downfall for Canada.

  • Every goddamn party here seems to be looking out for themselves. Even Mr Harper.

Didn't we have a fricken election last year? and the year before?

What the hell is going on now? Do the Liberals, NDP, and Conservatives actually want "change" (we've all heard this before..) and "better life" for us Canadians?

Or could this all be for their own special interests.

I am sick of the corruption in these parties. Now astonishingly resembling the States.

I probably wont vote, but if I do, then Green

  • LOL @ Green Party.

  • Lol @ ignorant citizens who support corrupt politicians.

  • LOL @ People who believe the Green Party isn't as corrupt as the rest.

  • Lol @ People who even vote.

There's no point. All you get in the end is more status quo.

And you, I, and everyone knows it. The end.

  • I guess the next one should be LOL @ you? Since if noone voted we wouldn't have a government, would we? Whereever you stand you should understand that you have a choice between a turd sandwich and a douche. Those are the choices, if you don't vote you can't complain because you didn't make a choice. Also Kanye West will find you, 'Vote or DIE" .

  • green lol what a waste of a vote, the only reason that cow of the green party along with her nonesence members want a seat is so she and they can retire and have a full pension she doesn't give a damn about canada so she's no different than the liberals and the ndp and the conservatives

  • Stephen Harper may not always have the best policies, but atleast he reaches out TO ALL CANADIANS!! I'm sick of the liberals, NDP, and Block that only care about trying to get votes in Ontario and Quebec and as such design their policies around that idea.... Such as a carbon tax.. If your trying to go green please don't destroy my economy, give western Canada ridiculous money if a carbon tax is going to be used so we could effectively shift.. Liberals wont though, they don't care about the west.

  • Harper is a douche! Militarizing Canada? Money Hand-outs and not doing anything real? Cashing in on the prison system? Selling Canada's national resources to foreign powers? Promoting guns? Ignoring homelessness? Bullshitting on the monetary facts? Respecting our military by forcing them into unjust wars? The SPP? Harper is a criminal and should be seen as one. Life is not black and white, it is not liberal and conservative. This man is a war-monger who seeds anger between groups.
  • I don't pretend to know the politics thoroughly enough to argue most of those points, but you cant be blinded enough by ignorance to ignore the weak military forces protecting the worlds 2nd largest country. Something has to be done, and it will be with a majority conservative government.

  • thats right harper you tell em eh! harper says "we can not have a government that represents the majority of the people. we can not waste our time with the middle class. our wallets have stayed too big for too long! its time we make them even bigger!

  • The Liberals seem to have a hidden agenda here. Let us never forget that Iggy signed his name and his party off to the seperatist Bloc Quebecois. For shame...

  • Harper has changed this country to the best state it has been in 20+ years. If liberals win the next election, all of that work will be crumble up

  • I don't like humans who look to others to decide for them whats right and wrong. Laws have no bearing on what I decide to do. Governments are all the same. Most people don't vote. That too is a vote, they voted for no one. Oh alpha male worship, how many more mellenia must we endure this throwback to primal nature. Does it make you feel safe knowing that someone manipulated you into thinking they care about you? Safety is an illusion.

  • ok :) ..

    do you have an alternative.

maybe social instincts should be though in high school ?

  • Alternatives don't exist because no one gets taught a damn thing even remotely philosophical during school time OR by their parents. "Here's some TV/sports/video games, I'll give you anything you want, just don't ask for books.. I'd have to actually read in order see if its appropriate for you and I'd rather just wait for the movie version." I'm not that smart, but I'm smart enough to know it, unlike everyone who bends over screaming "lead me".

  • There is no perfect answer here really. I don't believe that anything is free of advantages or disadvantages.... If I had to make a suggestion, I'd say lets scrap the one higher leader thing. Lets make provincial governments higher than federal ones. It's annoying that humans are still so fearful that the only reason we don't dilute the power system is cause we're scared of "what if".

  • Good plan to break up our federation.

I kinda like Canada, and that suggestion would make it a memory.

  • just because something isn't consolidated into a centralized power figure, doesn't mean its going to break up. Oh wait, I forgot that the European Union broke up and so did the united nations... damn, well that proves me wrong. Canada will one day be a memory regardless of how either of us feel about it. I don't think I need symbols to prove who I am, if you do, fly at it. Obviously what I think doesn't honestly effect you does it?

  • Why do people hate Harper so much? I think he has done a great job, even with a minority government. Lowered taxes, tough on violent crime, cutting wasteful spending, give this guy a chance to govern with a majority and see how much more he can do.

  • We dont... Its all NWO controlled SHIT TUBE PROPAGANDA...

  • Harper is a smart man who preys on naive and apathetic Canadians. His fascist agenda appeals to those who are uneducated, uninformed or just plain short-term minded. Why do most Canadians hate Harper? Check the track record of economic mismanagement, ecological butchering, democracy killing, red neck leadership. Anyone who doesn't know what has been happening has been living under a rock, and anyone who supports what has been happening isn't functioning with a full set of marbles!

  • @80sCartoonsRock Cutting wasteful spending? Spending ballooned under his watch.

Also, no one in their right mind would call an anti-democratic war criminal, a good leader.

  • @80sCartoonsRock

I don't even know where to start. Firstly, he lies constantly. He promised fixed election dates, accountability and transparency in government, to demand the 5 billion the US stole from our softwood lumber industry. He has shut the media out of government because they refused to only ask questions his party approved. He shut down parliament rather than answer tough questions...

And he views our country as a "north american welfare state in the worst sense of the term".

  • @80sCartoonsRock

He is not at all concerned about the country because he is perpetually campaigning for a majority. His campaign team makes the decisions while all our elected conservative MPs are not allowed to disagree. This is why he has abandoned all the principles his party claims to stand for. He has done virtually everything he has critized the opposition for doing.

He has turned a huge surplus from the Liberals into a huge deficit and continues to call them wasteful.

  • @80sCartoonsRock You are dead right, it is the loonie lefties in our country that hate Prime Minister Harper. The left or as we call them the liberals are all suffering from a mental disorder called liberalism.

  • @justanoldman1 Nevermind that the Liberal Party is centre-right, I'd love to see you prove that Liberalism is a mental disorder.

Especially since social conservatives and old-school Tories are hating Harper more and more, too.

  • @BoredomCorner Just look at Iggy and Jack is that not proof enough? Yes we no longer have a conservative party in Canada, the one here is just about center, perhaps even a little left of center. The other parties are so far left that they could all join the communist party of Canada. We need less socialism and more common sense and logic in our politics. I don't hate anyone, but I do fear the loonie left as they are dangerous to our freedoms.

  • @BoredomCorner That is because the conservative party under Prime Minister Harper is not a conservative party any longer, it took the place of the Liberal party of the past. The conservatives are now a center line party and the liberals are fighting the NDP for the left. You will note that the NDP and the Liberals are both saying about the same thing, all social and progressive garbage. Anyone with any common sense knows that you must make business happy so they creat jobs, simple.

  • @justanoldman1 Businesses seem to be a lot more interested in shutting down, and moving jobs overseas, even when we DO give them tax cuts.

Every credible economist has said, that corporate tax cuts are worthless (especially when individual taxes go up, as ours have).

Oh and by the way, I'm sure your wife and mom would love to hear how much you disrespect their hard-earned rights...

  • @BoredomCorner It is useless talking about this with you, your mind is blocked by liberal mental illness.

  • @BoredomCorner If you really wnat to see proof that liberals have a mental disorder, look in the mirror.

  • @80sCartoonsRock 1) Taxes are only lower if you're super rich. 2) Our crime rate was falling long before Harper took over. 3) He's been more wasteful than any PM in our history (eg. jails we don't need, the G20 photo op, the F35s that don't work). He's also prorogued Parliament to obstruct torture investigations, and is now the only PM in Canadian history to be proven to be in contempt (for lying, breaking the law, etc.).

  • If i took the Conservative, Reform and merged them with the Alliance Party, would that be a 'COALITION' of sorts or just a pile of C R A P ?

    I thought so.

  • Very witty. I'm sure it took awhile to come up with that gem.

The answer to your question is... You get the govt. of Canada, and the keys to 24 Sussex.

Hope you enjoy that result, cause it's going to remain that way for a while yet.

  • Michael Ignatieff said today he would never agree to a coalition. Of course he has already, but if we are to believe him he will never again agree to a coalition in the future.

But Liberals will have a tough time getting a minority in the next election, and a Liberal majority is a nearly impossible.

So the question is: do we want a Conservative majority under Harper, or a Liberal minority under Ignatieff? Ignatieff has removed all other options in the next election.

    Way to go, Igiot.

  • @liberty4canada Liberal government of any kind. Harper's crossed the line far too many times.

  • @liberty4canada No, Ignatieff walked away from the coalition, as soon as he became leader of the Liberals.

Why do you think Harper wasn't thrown out in 2009?

  • @liberty4canada What a load of C.R.A.P. A Harper majority is the end of moderate Canada. It is pro US-Republicanism for Canada. Harper is secretive, power-hungry, against universal healthcare, against environmental protection. A Harper majority is the end of moderation in this country. PERIOD.

  • @liberty4canada Not as big of an idiot as Harper, for trying to nullify the results of a legitimate advance poll.

(look up "Guelph Campus Conservatives" on Google)

  • @liberty4canada wrong XD

  • With Liberals in power, you can get 115 convictions, including 18 drunk driving charges, and still drive the streets as a free man. With Conservatives in power, after killing an innocent bystander driving drunk you get thrown in jail with a life sentence. Seems like a no brainier to me.

  • Lol," This country can not afford a government like that"

..&after this guy is finished with us, this Country can't afford a pot to piss in.

  • We are a global disgrace when it comes to Kyoto. Perhaps average citizens would have more expendable income to help the economy if you weren't giving out American style bailout packages to corporations.

  • No I think we should be sending all of our money to Russia, in the form of Kyoto credits.

A collapsing economy does wonders for CO2 emmissions

  • The man is right.

Give him a chance at a majority...if you don't like it, four years from now, vote for someone else.

Nothing gets done in a Minority...and he's the closest one to possibly have a Majority.

  • The onus is on *him* to explain why they deserve a majority. It's not a question of "give him a chance".

He hasn't made a good case.

  • Google 4 things. All even let you wiki the first two.

    -Brian Mulroney

    -Stephan Harper

-Meech Lake Accord (OFFICIAL GOVERNMENT DOCUMENT)

    -Charlottetown Accord (OFFICIAL GOVERNMENT DOCUMENT)

Spend a few minutes skimmin' over those and THEN, get back to me.

Really. I'm not being a dick. Just curious.

I'm sure you have something brilliant to say.

  • My bad.

    Let's not forget Canada-US F.T.A. Jan. 1, 1989.

  • He's already been a tyrant with a minority.

You heard his speech -- he hates the courts, he wants revenge on Parliament, and if you aren't a straight, natural-born, right-wing Christian male, you're sub-human.

  • Ya thats why we still have gay marriage, a gun registry, free medical, stem cell research and multiculturalism. Wow look at that extreme right wing go, lol.

You drama queens are pure decadance, the country is being run almost identically as if the Liberals were in power.

  • @brokenbrainz1 Um, maybe you didn't pay attention, but Harper tried or succeeded in getting rid of all of those things as soon as he took office. Also, take a look at who supports him: the Christian Right.

  • @BoredomCorner @BoredomCorner Wow, you are so biased you are actually delsional. That's the problem when politics become tribal and you end up hating the other side no matter what. If you actually payed attention you would see the Libs and Cons are nearly identical in actual policies.

The gun registry is the only issue where Harper is actually trying to do something and it wasn't even him, it was a private members bill.

  • @brokenbrainz1 It was a Conservative bill, and something he campaigned on from the minute he took over the Alliance party. And I'm neither biased nor delusional (I don't support any party) -- I'm simply pointing out Harper's well-known record for being a far-right control freak.

  • @gjwaldie What makes you think Harper will give us a chance to vote him out, if he wins a majority?

  • McCane style FUD designed to appeal to the weak minded gullible folks.

I think this video "leaked" out on purpose.

  • The NDP have ALWAYS been against Bill C-68.

If Harper REALLY wanted to get get rid of it, it would already be gone.

  • This is what my MP, Chalie Angus, always seems to say during elections.

But it seems he lies, and votes his party line instead.

The NDP cares more about Toronto votes, then rural Ontarians.

  • "the party line" IS to get rid of bill-C-68.

This is not a trick. The NDP is NOT in favor of redundant laws such as the gun registry. If the cities don't like it, too bad.

Harper won't table this legislation in a minority parliament because he knows full well IT WILL PASS with the NDP votes, thereby destroying another lie perpetuated by the Tories, about the NDP.

Typical Conservative Stratagy. Politics before People.
