All RPG's are recoilless rifles. As it shoots a large projectile, if it had recoil it would literally kill you.. newtons 3rd law. (don't say i'm wrong I serve in the royal engineers) xD

@TOOTYMIKEY Thus explaining why RPGs have highly concentrated blowback and multiple exhaust systems, to minimize recoil. It still hurts like hell though, and you can break your shoulder if you don't know what you're doing. But at least it does enough to ATTEMPT not to kill you.

RPG is actually russian and I think it stands for somthing like "rucni protivtenkov granat" what means something like handheld antitank granade(launcher)

@sixtymetal the russians dont call it the RPG ( only in english is it called that) the RPG stands for rocket propelled grenade. they just have a basic m number ( russian FL number)

@Xcorez...in english its called a rocket propled granade but that only the ruff tranlation from Russian....meaning of of names and discriptions and stuff can get messed up when u translate something from one language to another...and does the real rpg 7 look like it shoots granades..not really

that first plane u killed, that was me, ino this because i have only been i the planes about 3-4 times, and the first 2 i just parachuted out, and i forget which it was but i was flying low trying to bomb and it said i was killed by a rpg and i was like WTFFFFF!!!

@HerveGamerDude The m1 bazooka fired a recoil less rocket from a rifle barrel, hence the name recoiless rifle. the Russian RPGs were mostly smooth bore weapons that fired over-sized fin stabilized projectiles, they are different.
