  • That was fucking shit!

  • I can play circles around this asshole.

  • GO STEVE

  • one guy cheering

  • I have a rare (only 75 made) black 1975 Gibson Les Paul Triumph bass. Electronics done by PRS GUITARS. That bass will kick any Fenders machine heads right off!!!!!!

  • 3 riff + 3times =bass solo??xD

    boring

  • nice bass ! I like the arch top les pauls the most becuse it to me looks better .

  • complete dog shit

  • no konzeption

  • NOW DO A BARREL ROLL

  • more tones = less music

  • very effective solo

  • Very good!!! This bass is affected by neck dive?

    Sorry for my bad english.

  • Did you use the distortion pedal through the whole solo? And what pedal was it?

  • is that gibson or epiphone and where did you buy it?

  • Les Paul Standard 1992 Gibson, not epiphony

  • GO STEVE! GO STEVE!

  • I am a fan.

  • Sweet My friend

  • suck a dick Hitamaru

  • Let me guess, you're a professional bass player who enjoys critiquing others. What? You're not? (Obvious and drawn out point) If you can't do better, don't criticize.

  • doesnt matter if you play one or one hundred notes a minute, so long as the music sounds good. you could have a hundred notes that are out of tune, but you can just have three notes and make a decent song

  • unimpressed

  • more about technique imo. i could care less about scales on bass. you can create a wicked backbone for your band just using a few frets and a little bit of innovation.

  • u have no idea what ur talking about

  • one word "soul"

  • if you dont have soul then you cant create rhythm. every scale pattern in the world wont save you.

  • yes i know that i never said anything about that. but you need your scales to be a better player so you understand what your doing

  • it takes more than 3 okay notes in 100 shit out of tunes ones to make a decent song, a lot more. You don't have a clue what you're on about

  • The upright bass is harder to play than the piano.

This is fact. The piano by its very nature is simpler in the execution of a note to begin with; you press a key, there's a note. The upright bass is more complex and also physically more demanding, and there are multiple techniques to it.

Music must sound "right" to sound good.

This is simple logic. Music that doesn't sound "right," by the very meaning of the words of that sentence, sounds "wrong," which is another way of saying "bad."

  • nothing special !

  • incredible!!!

  • bass is harder, depending on what you play

  • I cant get into those basses, but great solo

    Love it

  • yea i figure bass is harder cuz i had to play like a 8 chord song and they barely told us the chords so i had to play my ass off and the guitarist was just sitting there

  • Bass IS harder... and it's not what you play that makes it hard.

  • Says the guy who can't play back in black correctly.............

  • you can, just not the same chords as guitar

  • powerchords for example...

  • GREAT bass work man!

  • Thanks :P

  • What is the bass called? I know its Gibson Les Paul, but what kind?

  • Les Paul Standard bass 1992....

  • just wondering, do bass guitar and guitar have the same fingerings, or are they different on each instrument? and also, which one is easier to play?

  • it seems really hard but pretty easy

that first part of it is at least

its mostly one fret then the open string over it

  • dude can you get tabs for that

  • well, it's pretty simple and I made it up on the spot. If you watch closely you'll get the gist of how I do it.... It's flashy, but not difficult by any means.

  • i heard a mistake but nonthe less ur freaking sweet bass is killa

  • You are the "hammer on" king....

  • I SO WANT THAT BASS MANNNN

  • yay 4 les pauls!

  • I wish I would have never bought my Les Paul standard bass. it's a PoS epiphone and rusts like no other.

  • nice bass, i havwe an Epiphone Les Paul Special bass, its pretty good, a little bit more of a beginners bass though, anyway, tjhe solo was pretty cool, luv the bass

  • where can i get a bass like that!

    o.0!

  • u should be able to order it in at any local music store that supplies gibson

  • i hear no distortion... you lied to me!

  • From 0:30 to 1:00, it made me think of "As You Said" by Cream. And somebody says what a great song it is when he recognizes it. What is it really? I bet I am wrong in thinking it's "As You Said."

  • fugin sweet man

  • my god!!!!!

  • very impressive im in the prosses of buying a les paul bass my self

  • Cool Bass...I have the Gibson SG bass...It is AWESOME!! I play it on a Hartke Rig...Extreme low end!!!

  • DAMN that's a cool bass. Well played!

  • thanks!

  • Good to see someone not falling into the generic slap bass solo bandwagon.

  • 1st year (1992) Gibson Les Paul Bass with L5 flower pot inlay and 3 point brige. Value? I dunno, too rare to tell. I would never sell it anyway

  • awesome! how much was that bass?

  • meh, pretty cool

  • Wow, Heartbreaker solo on the bass. Love that Trace Elliot rig, too.
