never never put baby under running water. Im sorry but thats poor advice. Ive seen too many children get burned by accident this way. use a little basin or tuperware with water that has already been tested to make sure its the correct temp.

I'm afraid of temperature fluctuations, so I don't put the baby under running water. I use a cup and scoop water from a large bowl for rinsing.
