There's an elephant in the room comrades, why are schools still segregated in Scotland. Surely it's time to educate all our kids together? Mike Russel eats Brewer.
Alas, many of you are deluding yourselves. This isn't much of a monstering. The politician is a sophist and the interviewer is a bit thick. It doesn't say much for the quality of policical debate in Scotland.
It was good to watch that again. The BBC in Scotland needs to stop acting like a cheap scaremongering tabloid paper and start presenting viewers with the facts and figures we all deserve to get. Leave the paxman type jumped up arrogant interviewers to England and demand better here in Scotland.
That is brilliant! Gordon annoys me so much by towing the London line, but this time Mike put him in his place. I'm fed up of the BBC trying to put the Scottish image 'down'. Let's have a proper broadcaster who actually DOES care about about Scotland and it's views.
I have always had the highest regard for Mike and this was classic Mike at his very, very best. Poor Gordon tried to be a tartan Paxman and palpably failed. Maybe if he addressed his own literacy his debating skills might be honed to a level whereby he can avoid being made to look so inept by a better man!

Brewer is Labour party to the core. He,regardless of how much of a fool he looks, opposes for oppositions sake(a curious habit of Homo Labourite).Methinks we r screwd though|:the propaganda is relentless
God but the establishment are soooo anti Scotland it makes me sick. Please remind us why we have the largest debt mountain in history. Oh yeah, it's because of mismanagement by LONDON GOVERNMENT!!!
lol at Gordon Brewer's desperate line of questioning the stupidly selfish parent and how he's put in his place very, very, well by Mike Russell. Textbook.

Textbook by Mike Russell... I think Mike will be strongly competing for the SNP Leadership with Nicola when Alex decides to step down in the future.
Absolutely hate Brewer and his ignorance and anti-SNP bias... great to see him slaughtered *;o)

Well done Mike Russell, I'd love to see every SNP MSP call out the BBC's anti-SNP bias.

All those directed from Brian's blog, who may well be interested in another source relating to Scottish politics, should visit:
newsnetscotland. com/
the bbc don't let you link it, and now youtube wont let you post links! talk about petty censorship of ideas!
