  • That little kid is so hard to understand. You have to listen a couple times to tell what he said.

It could be worse, I guess. At least he isn't Jamaican.

  • Awesome scene - thanks for posting it - This entire movie is great. So many classic lines - "death is a great adventure- death is the only adventure." "what do you want old man! Just You!" - discover all the others for yourself.

  • "You're playing with us!"

  • 0:56 Peter Pan!

  • :46 That is one fuckin ugly red headed kid.

  • Why is this scene so great? Because of the music from John Williams!!

  • morgan freeman? i dont see him around?

  • Morgan Freeman's best role

  • My most favorite scene of this movie. It always makes me cry and gives me chills.

  • is my favorite scene in the movie is so emotional

  • I loved this movie to bits when I was little.

There was some kind of quirkiness that I just loved.

  • what's the name of this movie? Please... i need it..!

  • @VuLTuRaKi "Hook"

It's kind of a different take on the Peter Pan story.

  • like you said so this scene are so beautiful :) it's so deep and such with great emotional power. not every movie has this moments - be a child and feel like so :)

  • The little boy is just too cute. This is one of the best parts of the movie.

  • ive seen this movie probably 20 times and i still can't understand anything the little kid says at 2:01...i've ALWAYS wondered! lol

  • @iamveltto sounds like "are you gonna follow this drooler likes it cap-i-ton hook" Dam now i gotta watch this movie with subtitles now.

  • Comment removed

  • @iamveltto He's saying "What's he doing here if he's not Peter Pan, huh? He don't look happy here, and who are them kids Hook's got? Give him a chance!"

  • This scene makes me cry, and I love the music that is playing. "Welcome back to Neverland Pan the Man."

  • A great and emotional moment from a truly awesome and underrated movie. Huge part of my childhood, every time I watch this movie, I want to be a kid all over again. This is easily one of my very favorite scenes in the entire movie. I can never watch it without getting teary-eyed.

  • 1:13 Julia Roberts look really cute on this scene !

  • One of my favorite scenes on a Steven Spielberg film ! Pure magic and beautiful !

  • #t1m40s - I'm The Pan Now!

  • this movie is the fountain of youth just by watching it you'll never grow old

  • I get quite tearful when i see this scene,...and i'm a 42 year old man, i took my girlfriend out to see it when it came out in the early 1990's and trying to hide my emotion from her,..lol!

  • We didn't stop playing because we got old, we got old because we stopped playing. ^_^

  • ALL RUFIO FANS! CHECK OUT MY NEW HIP HOP SONG CALLED "LIKE RUFIO" VERY CATCHY AND IT'S GONNA GET BIG SOON!

  • julia roberts is one sexy little fairy

  • in this movie the two part that make me cry are this and when Rufio dies

  • im so happy that i was a child win this came out... i got the full effect of its magic.

  • THIS FILMIS PUR MAGIC!!!!!!!!!!

  • That little kid is just the cutest thing! :) This movie makes me smile sooooooo much! :)

  • Aw, I LOVE this movie! *thinking happy thoughts*

    'til Later, Wicked Pumpkin*

  • Too bad movies aren't emotive as this anymore... And now you only have movies for a part of the family, kids or adults, etc. They don't make them for whole family anymore and that brings them together...

  • One of te best scenes ever...What an actor..what a director..and what a MUSIC...just Magic...

  • If you watch at 1:33, Peter is mouthing the words that the other kid is saying. I've never noticed that before! Also, right before the kid says "oh there you are, peter!", you can tell he's smiling at Peter before he smiles and says the line.

  • I'm 15 going on 16 and this is still my favorite scene the the whole movie. I water up every time. Steven Spielberg is a genius.

  • might just be my favorite movie growing up. I'm 24 years old now.

  • Taking away his wrinkles, who needs botox.

  • YOU JERK PETER!!!!!!!!

you couldnt give rufio his LAST shinging moments...

  • Who else thinks this move should get a sequal? Maybe Pan's son could be the new hero agasint some new threat? Robins too old now to be the hero. Like if Hook had a son, somwhere. Would be good i think. Son against son. :P

  • 1:32 the more you listen to it, the funnier it gets

  • THIS scene... Is part of the only critique I've had for this movie... This little boy should have been the next Pan because he believed in Pan all along.

  • Peter Pan needs an adult!!!!!

  • anybody ever feel like watching this seen and thinking of all the stuff that led up to it, with this tribal mentality the lost boys had. Here comes this kid whos like the old Sage or Medicine Man who looks beyond the flesh to see whats really on the inside? Maybe im getting to deep into it lol.

  • i love how the kids face is so serious in this clip :) hes like " im a professional at this " aha<3

  • Sucha beautiful, emotional moment in the film. And its presented amazingly. They just don't make films like this anymore.

That kid is just so cute <3

  • This is a really beautiful moment of the film, this is probably my favorite moment of the film for sure when they realize its him by touching his face and pulling back his wrinkles :p its such a cute moment, makes me tear up. Kids used to be so cute, but media make them lose their childhood these days. Thumbs up who misses the old movies emotional mushies like this.

  • @ServantOfAllah0264 I love how they react to the kid like an oracle mandating something to a village. I am in no way trying to go against your statement. I just thought it was funny like at the very beginning of this scene he is sizing the man up.

  • @rbdzntsfrlk Yes they are sizing him up and i think what's so beautiful about it this scene. Children are so innocent they have no evil intentions. They just wanted to see if it was Peter himself. I miss these mushy parts in movies. they dont seem to have it anymore, cuz they think its just stupid and a joke well its not :( its what creates morals to stories.

  • You description of why this scene is so beautiful is dead on. It just makes you want to feel apart of something this beautiful..

  • wow, i haven't watched this movie in 12 years and i just started crying at this! no joke, tears rolling down my face. i miss this movie. such an underrated movie, none of my friends seem to have watched it growing up. shame!

  • jesus, tear to my eye everytime "there you are peter" then the music comes through..

  • best ever!!!!<3

  • man NigaHiga looks like Rufio. lol

  • presioza escena magnifica bso magnifica pelicula

  • My absolute favourite scene in this movie. A beautiful moment.

  • This is my favorite scene of the movie. Every once in while I run into a childhood friend I haven't seen in years. Sometimes they change so much I can hardly recognize them, but when they smile I can still see the child they were in their eyes.

  • @FarginBastiges Yep. Some people change vastly from child to adult, but they all still have that "something", be it a look, expression, or feature that you can figure out if you look hard enough.

  • and thus, as several children fondled a fat man's face, zuko lost his honor.

  • I agree. This movie is so underrated. I've seen this many times and I still like it. :)

  • @tudortoomey well thats your opinion....

  • @tudortoomey NO!

  • My Favourite movie ever, This movie is my childhood and always keeps me in touch with it. The music from the legend john williams takes you back. Shame it was so underated. Good Morning Neverland!

  • Comment removed

  • One of my all time favourite scenes. Robin Williams is one of my childhood legends! It takes me back to the 90's when I was a kid, thinking about make-believe, looking out at the stars wishing I could go to neverland! Amazing how movies bring back so many good memories!

  • Now that I think about it, ...yeah....Yeah, Julia Roberts was a terrible fit for this movie.

The indecisiveness of these kids right here reminds me of the American voters that are brainless.

  • thinking of this scene halps me fall alseep on stressful nights, i think its the music and the thought of a facial massage, lol

  • Tinker Bell is proper fit in this film!

  • You notice when the little boy says "welcome back to Neverland Pan the man", you can see Robin Williams mouthing the lines with him.

  • the part when the kid says "JUST GIVE HIM A CHANCE" has sent me and my sister into stiches from the age of 6 and 8 to now when were both 19 and 21. love how his head slaps back when he says it lol

  • I cried. This is the most beautiful scene ever done. "Hook" is an amazing movie, funny and very sad at the same time.My favourite movie, so much memories from my childhood !

  • awesome music , i need to get that sound track

  • Bitch! Get yo hands off my face! Whatcha think I am? Playdo?!!!

  • This scene will always change how I feel towards everything.

  • My head tingles every time I watch this

  • That is the music of truth.

  • Oh there you are Peter!

  • i havent seen this for 10 years but watching it now feels like i just watched it yesterday, this scene made me well up.

  • Agreed, very underrated. An awesome story.. Basically a Hero who forgot who he was. What better inspiration than Peter Pan?

  • Love this bit- no matter if you're grown up, people who knew as a kid will still be able to peel the wrinkles back to see that youth still inside

  • 4 people have grown up.

  • this is the sorta thing i wanted to study on

this paticuler scene the sounds the feelings the mystery the mood

  • I love this...

  • This movie still brings tears into my eyes, Robin Williams act matchless, and John Williams is a genius!

  • can y'all gess witch one of the faces i seen today that look like one of the kids in this movie???

  • I haven't seen this movie in soooo long!!! This has got to be one of the greatest movies of all time! And I love this scene so much! It's got to be the sweetest scene ever.

Altough, I do have to admit that my first thought when Rufio started talknig was "OMG IT'S ZUKO" haha

  • Captain Hook made accounts and disliked this at least 4 times.

  • You just don't see movies like this anymore. This scene always touched me as a kid, I just saw the movie yesterday on TV for the first time in over a decade and felt the same when I saw this scene.

  • my joint favorite movie of all time, and the best good feeling film ever.

  • Notice how once the baby black boy descovers that he IS peter, he motions with his head for the lost boys to come over.

Clearly this boy was far more superior than rufio.

  • :O Zuko!!!

  • I do love when the music takes off. It's kinda like the resurrection of a dead hero.

  • I wud fuck tinkerbell in a heartbeat

  • I can't believe this is from 1991 and Batman Returns is from 1992

  • I <3 this music!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • thank you for posting this

  • I always cry when the little kid says 'oh THERE you are Peter!' and the music just erupts :'( brilliant scene and score by both Williams and Spielberg

  • @MagicPixieSprinkle

Yeah, this scene always makes me cry either :)

  • i get very sentimental when it comes

to scenes like this something to remember

  • @MagicPixieSprinkle This is an amazing scene. You are probably just like me receiving an ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) buzz of sorts from watching it. Google ASMR.

  • @Sk8or413 Nah I don't think so, it's more the sadness that we grow up and yet in many ways remain as young as we once were- if you take the time to look deep enough. It just moves me that so many DON'T believe in him and yet this one little kid finds the 'real' Peter again- not lost, just sleeping deep inside.

I think that, and the emotive swell of the music makes me happy and sad at once because even though he's found himself again, so many of us forget or deny who we are deep down :/

  • @MagicPixieSprinkle Well that's basically the exact thing that I think about it. The child only recognized Peter when he manipulated his face into a smile. He had grown old and been brainwashed into forgetting happiness and "putting away childish things". That is after all the underlying message of Peter Pan; Never grow up.

  • @Sk8or413 i get all the time it's a great feeling like the rest of the world is gone and it's just you

  • This is one of Williams best and heart wrenching themes ever. Just like after he gets hit in the head with the baseball.

  • are you gonna follow this droowla against capi-ton hook??? ooh new york accents. my favorite line.

  • anyone knows the soundtrack sounding in this scene?

  • @macarenasproductions "You Are The Pan" by John Williams.

  • who would dislike this

  • I can hardly understand what that kid is saying to Rufio. He sounds like he grew up in the rough section of Neverland.

  • @odgersfan83 lmfao hahhahaahah

  • @odgersfan83 lmao!

  • @odgersfan83 hahahahahha

  • @odgersfan83

"What's he doin' here if he's not Peter Pan huh? He don't look happy here. And who are them kids Hook's got?

  • @odgersfan83 lmfaaooo!!!

  • @odgersfan83 ahahah! "the rough section of Neverland" PRICELESS!! made me laugh so hard! thanks ^^

  • @odgersfan83 "Wait!, if Tink believes then maybe he is." "Whats he doin here if hes not Peter Pan huh! He dont look happy here. And who them kids hooks got. Give em a chance". :P

  • @odgersfan83 the reason why he talks like that is because he was probably from some hood before he came to neverland. the lost boys were never born in neverland they were all orphans and run aways.

  • I cannot get enough of this film, could watch it everyday if I had chance. Nearly 22 years old and I just cried watching this and Peter turning into Pan, such powerful music - which is what sets me off lol. Definitely my favourite Spielberg film by a long shot, they don't make films like this anymore!

  • I dont know why, but this scene made me emotional, its weird :) it just makes me feel so happy for him. BEST MOVIE EVER

  • This scene is Epic! brings everyone of you years back!

  • This has deffinitely made me cry before.

    I mean, what?

  • @RebaGleba Me too. MAN I miss the 90s! Must've been like 5 when this came out.

  • @TheGlobalMisfit I know! That's when all of the best things happened.

  • julia roberts looks like hayley williams in this.

  • I can't believe this movie is a year older than batman returns

  • Shivers, every time.

  • OH! THIS is how politics work!

  • pan the man!

  • i know alot of people are not " religious" on here i'm not religious i have a relationship with Jesus Christ. He is my Lord and Savior..What is so cool about this scene is that God can look at all the junk in your life all "wrinkles" that this life has thrown at you and pull them back and see the beautiful creation that he has made each and every one of us..1 Samuel 16:7 talks about God looking at the heart..still done believe read Luke 19:1-10 about zacchaues....he is the real deal people

  • :'D

    Everytime.

  • Favorite scene.

  • That small boy later got sued by Peter for sexual harassment lol

  • goosebumps!

  • love

  • That kid is so cute:

"Welcome back to Neverland, Pan the man!"

    I loved this scene!

  • 1:14 Smee's face !! Julia Roberts is so cute on this one.

Hook is amazing, one of most underratted spielberg film. Williams is beautiful too.

  • Beautiful scene, moody socre by John Williams.

    Love It.

  • I seen this movie so many times, but can someone explain to me what is the Lost Boy looking for in Peter? What was the smile of Peter got to do with anything?! By the way, I love this movie!!! "I believe in fairies!" :D

  • @YashaWhiteTiger Well the Peter they knew was also a child, so this man that Tink claims to be Peter they don't believe to be true because Peter said he'd "never grow up". So this scene is about the child looking for Peter in this mans body. He pokes and prods him to try and find the likeness between him and the Peter he knew as a child. He finally recognises it's Peter at the end when he see's his smile... Hence "There you are Peter!"

  • totally the best scene of the entire movie

  • gotta love the lil malcolm x kid at the end!

    PREACH!

  • @eltom27 LMAO!

  • The song that plays was stuck in my head for days and I couldn't remember where I heard it from...then this scene resurfaced from my memory. This is a powerful scene and my favorite, I also like the scene when Peter does the food fight and he can see the food again :D

  • I hate that guy, what's his name, Robin Williams.

  • Wonderful moment of the best movie ever. From Spain

  • It takes a smile- a real smile, if anyone's gonna recognize the kid in you at all.
