Don't you guys see it? Harry Potter never HAS to be over. Save all seven books. Save your copies of the movies. When you're married and have kids someday, give it to them. They'll enjoy it so much that they'll save it for their kids.

Just because a series ends doesn't mean its over. You can still read and watch it for years to come, and so can generations after you. Listen to/write songs about it. Read/write fanficr,tion for it. As long as you still love and enjoy it, it NEVER has to end.

Did anyone else play Harry Potter with their friends when they were small? I was only six when I read the first book, and my best fried from across the road had it read to her by her older sister. I can remember many happy afternoons pretending to be in transfiguration/charms/potions­/history of magic classes with her while her older sister pretended to be all the different teachers, and, sometimes, Voldemort as well. Those were some of the best days of my life.
