I just got home I'm proud to be able to say I'm a 2012 member of the US All American Marching Band, one of the absolute best experiences of my life!

We should do some kind of a reunion with all the years, there's 5yrs of us now!

@kict951 This isn't the United States military marching band. This is a ton of teens from around the country that audition to go and practice for a week then perform this or a show of some kind. It's not actual soldiers.

how do u tryout for the band? and wat is the age limit?

um it's for high school juniors. to be upcoming seniors. You tryout via video auditions and then they'll tell you if you make it. just go to google and type in All American Marching Band and it'll take you to the MENC website.

A trombone in my HS band got nominated and chosen to march (his dad just happens to be the director <.<) and all I think he did rly was play for some reps of the bowl.

keep praticing until your ready for your audition. Pick a service first. the School of Music at VA teaches Navy, Army, and MC. You gotta finish basic training first.

I really would like to join the army band. Is it difficult to pass through the auditions? I'm not that good in sight reading. Please reply. Oh, BTW I'm in college, I play the clarinet and I'm 17 years old.

I marched trombone in this band this year, Im glad someone got some footage since NBC didnt put it on tv..........If you have some more videos please post them up.

Thank you so much for posting this! My son was in the band and everyone is terribly disappointed that NBC didn't broadcast the halftime show as they promised. They put together an amazing show with less than 16 hours of practice and that deserves to be seen! Thanks again.
