You should extiend that trence one more back, but leave one square for you to jump on to get into your house. That way, the enemies have a higher chanch of falling into it, and a lower chanch of getting by your door. You should also start to replace that woord with stone, so it has a higher blast resistance, just in case of Creepers

Don't know if u will do this but u could go on top of ur home and plant trees to make a watch area and turn the tree into a fort on top of a fort u could also add a spire on to the and light it up helped me

@CAIDMASTEROFPYRO it has not been removed it is hard to find it is only found near sand and 9 or so blocks near water. I find it by going to a close beach near my house building a spire up and following the coast line and turn back once you find enough making sure you stay near the coast keepin it on ur left as an example and to get back keep it on ur right. Hope I helped :)
