Why the hell did i buy this after that demo... played 30 hours, finished the main quest and 3 faction quest lines and a lot of side quest and i will proly never play it again... 0 replay value since you can change everything when ever you want, once you get a hang of the combat and get more than 80 hp its extremely easy, quests are copy paste, dialogue is boring and anoing sometimes(house of balads) dungeons all look the same the more you progres the less content is in the new location... 6/10

I prefer Morrowind then Oblivion then Skyrim before Amalur, purely based on chances to die. It seem as games progress they just get so easy you really cannot die once you get to level 4-5! What's the point of 100 combo's and a scary dungeon in this game when you go in knowing there is only a very small chance of dying! Surely, you cannot really immerse in a game when you haven't even come close to dying in the last 12 hours of gameplay - like me!

@RRRadish I play Amalur on Hard. And Play Skyrim and oblivion with mods that make the game harder! I am hoping Amalur gets some mods too! The Skyrim mods, like Skyrim Wars IV, PISP mod and Skyrim Immersive NPC's make the game harder in a good way, by having enemy have potion and use them quicker, make them block better and make them have better AI generally. Also Assassin's and bandits can now ambush! You worry on the road and entering a cave now!

Heres my thoughts I mena skyrim does have a bigger world but bigger isnt always better reckoning seems just right imo the fighting in reckoning is far superior compared to skyrim but skyrim has its one ups like looking more realistic reckoning looks a bit cartoony the vast amount of enemies in reckoning is awesome and the camera even though i dont like third person is easy to handle and use overall both games have their areas where their better you just might have to buy both or pick one

First I got Skyrim. It was ok but for about seven-years of waiting it could have been better. I don't know if im just not playing it right (like a TES game) or if I have to play it like a fallout game since it is kind of similar. Then I bought Reckoning yesterday and I have to say...I loved it. Its so expansive and has that sort of lore feel that skyrim kind of lacks (Oblivion had it though) so out of both i find Reckoning more worth my time than skyrim. I love how I can try EVERYTHING in 1 play

Fable 1 was one of my favorite games. Fable 2 gave me chronic diarrhea, while Fable 3 made my testicles recede into my stomach.

The character customization is not quite ANYTHING you want, the menus are a little bit confusing at the beginning, there is no JUMP - which makes some paths quite linear (I mean come on!), the combat is great, the visuals (of course they don't compare to Skyrim, which tends to realism) are amazing even though there are some issues with drawing distance. Yet so far the main thing that sucks best in this game is the camera.

@PoosyPanda dragonage 2 was shit compared to origin, the first version had far more freedom it was harder to do well in. You had to do alot more planning than the follow up, they designed the first one purely for the pc and created a great game. da2 was created mostly as a console game, it was dumbed down and way to easy compared to origin. You have to be ignorant to disagree, either that or you are on console and never actually played the original.

Both allow you to play based on your style, both have many side quests, both have great story, both have a lot of features that relate to each other (lock picking, pick pocketing, jail time, murder, crime, etc) Graphics, Combat and Animation however are different.

@rorslol The controls are just plain broken, it feels like you're controlling someone with cerebral palsy, and the camera is broken.

The graphics would've been good, if the game was made in 2005, but even then it wouldn't have been close to the best looking games.

The combat is just a boring hack-and-slash, kind of like a mix of Fable and God of War, just plain button-mashing.

Not to mention all the dreary, boring cutscenes, quick-time events and scripted events, and a bad UI.

4. I love the cutscenes, the quick time events are flashy, scripted events are a good thing as they always look much better then non-scripted ones, and the UI is basically the norm of RPGs..HP/mana in top left, map somewhere on the right, and hotbar/XP bar in the bottom.

Now about the dungeons.. Amalur has about 130 dungeons. All of them are hand crafted.

Skyrim has a total of 120 dungeons, not 350 like you mention. And most of them look the same.
