In the uncut version used to be a kind of Bar scene, shortly after the hospital scene, the only one where that one actor had a short text passage. I had a crush on that guy, but dont remember the name.

The hospital scene is still pretty good, still passable as being "futuristic", but man the flight suit looks like something out of the 1960s lol.

I think they went for a kind of retro 50s set/props/costumes design, kind of like Dan Dare. The Phantom Menace used a similar style for the vehicles and ships.
