The game is actually supposed to have some sort of launch in the first weeks of january and yes gamers first did buy it and yes it will be free to play.
does anybody know if this game is going to start up again or something like that because i was saving for the game and i got the money on the day it was released it was going to be shut down i was real gutted but i still want it and want it to come back out any answers please?
@ryzeboobs Yes. The game was bought by K2 Network and will be re-released in 2011 as FREE 2 play. A few changes will be made to the game before its release. i can't give you my source since it's in swedish. You have to google for proof.
Ok so, I know this game has shut down, but I was wondering, if you buy it now can you still make characters? That was really the only reason I was going to play it anyway lol
@TheSilentPrincess Do not buy it! Download it from a torrent (they derseve it in this case, else Im staying genuine) - go to actiondistrict.dot com and make an account. Then you can actually play.
@Hanayoru I'm sorry. I wish I could be of more help than that but to be honest I've abandoned this game since it failed so I don't have that much knowledge of what is going on now, and frankly since they screwed us over that much I don't really care either :)
@Nialyah I've heard nothing but bad reviews of this game, I just don't understand how though cause looking at gameplay and character creation (drool) It looks awesome. You say "they screwed us over", what exactly do you mean by that? Why didn't it go well for this game? I'd like an insider opinion since obviously i haven't played the game =)
@RememberRox Well the game itself was really nice during Closed Beta as it was new and entertaining. The customization was fantastic and the tiny feel of freedom in the game was nice. But after a while you'd expect the bugs to be fixed and content to get improved but it didn't. Many dominating clans won league rewards because of kill-trading and/or use of hacks.
The worst thing was when Real Time decided to shut down their servers making the game unplayable. Throwing money out of the window. :/

@PoKemaNroOlz It costs the same as any typical MMO but you have 2 options. You can either pay per hour or you can pay for a whole month.
It is totally free to use the social district where you can customize your car and whatnot but for the Action districts where you do missions you need to pay.
I just tried the problem is the hair really. APB doesnt have any types of hair that really makes it look like Lady Gaga. I tried with the makeup looked decent but not quite what I wanted either.
I guess if you make a random average build short female character and fit her some really weird clothing and some face paint, like lightning or something. Then you have Lady Gaga.
@Alucardcastle I'm sorry for choosing to customize my own character the way I want. I know it's cool to be special in a game and not look like anyone else but sometimes, one can not care one bit and just want to look like one wants to look :)

Update: APB: Reloaded is very soon going into Closed Beta again.
US-West will be getting invites in first wave, then Europe and then US-West, other parts of the world im not really sure.

@pwndstickfigure Partly I think it's because it's the closest MMO you'll get to GTA, but aside from that you're totally right.
If APB were to make a super great game it needs more story, needs more pve, community, singleplayer missions, and far more districts to play in.
APB is like an Arcade Game. It's super fun the first couple of hours youve played it, but after that, it lacks a lot.
I hope it will improve over time.

Does anyone know if theres somkind of way to purchase the character and logo creator only, like Spore had a seperated Creature creator for sale.
Or will there just be the game and thats it.
cuz i honestly think i woul rather do the creation all day the the game itself =3
