What do you do if you didn't take along lena?Can you go back and get her somehow? if not,what do i do? do i just keep going,do i need matthis/lena?

Uh she should be in your select units list unless she died. That being the case, you can't get her back in that playthrough and neither her or her brother are necessary. Lena's just nice to have for staff us.
