Joomla Tutorial: How To Enable SEO

If your template is breaking up after turning the SEO switch on, you should try adding the following line to your configuration.php file (joomla root)

var $live_site = 'yourdomain here';

replace yourdomain with your site's domain...You tube won't let me write in a even a bogus addy in the comments section

Remember to change the permissions back to 444 after your done:

I'm having an issue, whenever I turn on 'Search Engine Friendly URLs' from the global configuration menu all of the pages on my site break except my index page, all of the other pages lose their backgrounds, images & css effects.

I made sure to change htaccess.txt to .htaccess.

Hopefully somebody can help me...
