This video is okay...when it comes to impressions Rich Little is my favorite, Johnny Carson was pretty good at it too. I get the impression that UltraDdeb doesn't like Loverboy or like their writing...they may not be the best songwriters but they have written good songs. Their mistake was perhaps writing with other writers like Jim Vallance or the guys from Journey instead of taking the time to write their best work. Labels tend to push bands too hard, too fast..

Ferrell plays a whacky Goulet who still sees the show as the Tonight show, and Conan as Johnny Carson. It's Ferrells turf, the improv. Conan, on the otherhand does his "role" as perfectly as Ferrell does his; he's himself and reacts to "Goulet's" comments as strange and, well, whacky. There was no change of gears, at least not lower.
