  • Russ Taff was born to sing. What an amazing performance. Thank you again Hoover400!

  • i need all the christain freinds i can get please

  • i love his voice and they way he sings uplifts my spirit

  • 1951 teenage gospel singer Martha Chastain brought that song to Sydney Australia, and sang it in the huge Macaulay meetings, and been my favorite since. Billy Graham had her sing in his 1959 Crusades in New Zealand and Australia. She made There is no Secret popular too. Both are still singing in my heart 58 years later ... LN

  • after watching Nixon's service back in , we had church that wednedsday night, and I distictly remember singing O say but Im glad as our opening hymn. Everytime that song is plyed or sung, i think back to president nixon's funeral service, and that he has passed over. It is very special to me. I'm glad because nixon is in a better place-o say but i'm glad. why God moved pastor's heart to have us sing that song the day of Nixon's funeral, i will never know

  • Exodus 32:33 (King James Version) 33And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book. God has a eraser! Stay sin free, ask forgiveness often.

  • Wonderful song. Thanks for sharing. God bless

  • if your glad sing with them

    oh say but i'm gllad

  • No more begging God for what He already gave when He cried out "IT is FINSIHED" taking all sin and dealing with it once and for all. A child that is forgiven instead of one seaking forgivness makes all the difference. It is high time we believe Him and walk with thankfulness for what He already did..not because I keep asking Him to forgive me. He already has forgiving me at the cross when HE dealt with it.This leads to a thankful heart that can sing this song that comes form Romans 8

  • that's a great comment, tnitz2659!

    Thank you.

  • A Calvinist I trust? Good comments! It seems that there may be some of the proverbial apples and oranges in the discussion here. I agree that our salvation was accomplished at the Cross, and is complete and not revocable. Yet we ALL do continue to have a sin nature that will not be done away with until we are sanctified and glorified. Christ offered the Lord's Prayer as one way of dealing with that..."Give us this day our......and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive......"

  • we need more like Russ Taff

  • I'm so GLAD that my sins are forgiven, I still sin but I call on JESUS to forgive me for I am weak and HE is strong! I still make mistakes but I know to call on JESUS, for He will NEVER leave or forsake US! PRAISE YOUR WONDERFUL NAME JESUS!

  • If your glad that your sins are forgiven..then why do you ask Jesus to forgive you..either your forgiven or your not..which is it?

  • we all sin...we mess up, we fall short of the glory of God. That's why God's grace is so important. Not saying it's okay to go around sinning cause you can always ask for forgiveness again, but it happens because we are imperfect. "once saved always saved" is untrue.

  • WOW>..if you deny once saved always saved then you are living one hell of a messy life....Step into what Jesus Christ did for YOU when He died on the cross that ushered in your forgivness as well as mine...once you believe in the completness of this forgiveness..no more walking around in guilt.,.and you can cross over into Etrernal Life offered through the resurrection Rom 5:10,If you do not believe that He has given YOU ETernal Life then YOU don't believe He has that LIFE to offer. rom:6:23

  • no need to jump down my throat. once saved always saved, in my opinion, is man's way of justifying doing whatever he wants. God is, of course, more than capable of staying with us FOREVER, however, "once saved always saved" is giving YOURSELF way too much credit. When you come to Christ, their are commandments that you must follow, in order to get to Heaven. I just dont believe in using "once saved always saved" as an excuse to go about sinning and still get to heaven because you prayed ONCE.

  • Revelation 3:5 (New International Version)

5He who overcomes will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out his name from the book of life, but will acknowledge his name before my Father and his angels. We must finnish the race as a Christian.Check your Bible.

  • acceptin your a sinner asking for forgiveness and inviting God into your life is only half, HOLDING ON to God, is the other. If we are such superior beings that we only need forgiveness once, what does man need God for? I understand what you mean, and I agree once you've invited him into your heart, a part of Him always stays with you, but speaking from experience, cause we are so imperfect, it's very possible to backslide. He will NEVER leave us, but we can leave him, if we aren't careful.

  • That's right we can override the blood ourselves. God will never leave us, but we can leave Him.

Why do you people think Paul said, "If I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor."

...Do you all think transgressors are going to Heaven?

  • We ask forgiveness because we recognize the sin. He forgives. Should we stray from salvation, if we want to return to His good graces, we recognize the existing sin, ask forgiveness for the present failure thus returning us to his fold. If its sin prior to forgiveness, its sin forever. Its up to us to either not sin, or to ask forgiveness for any additional sin we commit. The end.

  • Amen!

  • I love to hear Russ sing!! He sings from his heart. He truly sings the song and feels it in his soul, you can tell it. God bless you, Russ Taff!

  • Sometimes the weight of the world can get you down - it helps to listen to this song to remind us just how much we have to be happy about - 1 out of every 1 person dies and to know we have a Father in heaven who loves us with a passion is waiting with open arms to welcome us home is a very good reason to be glad. You too can know you will be welcomed home if you ask Jesus to be your Lord and Saviour. Another super song Russ - thanks :o) -

  • I met Russ about 4 years ago. My husband introduced me to him and told him that I was his biggest fan, he hugged me and was so genuine. We talked for awhile and had our picture made. He is truly a man of GOD.

  • he is preforming at my church!

  • I told myself, one more song and I'll go to bed. But when God is in a song... to us...how can we fall asleep. I praise Jesus!

  • Praise, Praise, Praise His name! Isn't Jesus wonderful!

  • Praise God! To Him! Isn't He wonderful for letting us enjoy our worship to Him?

  • we are so blessed.god be with you today YOU are HIS CHILD.

  • This man is so full of the Holy Spirit. It just flows

out of him like a mighty river.
