  • Does the actual bar in the obstacle course also weigh 8 pounds? Also, how far apart are the two main poles?

  • @Claw220 I have no idea how much the bar weighs, The poles in the video are about six feet apart, I believe.

  • now you just need to work on your vert, or you won't pass the warped wall

  • @vietmanx Um... Maybe you should watch my ANW3 entry video.

  • yo man just finished my salmon ladder. i couldnt do it the first day but after searching the g4 forums i read a few of ur posts and it helped me man up lol.

  • @jscelman You're welcome! Glad I could help. :)

  • legit question, my friend and I want to make one of these this summer, how did you construct yours?

  • Basically, I made both large, metal beams, attached rungs and cemented said beams in the ground about three and a half feet. Looking back on it, there were probably easier ways to do this.

  • @TheAmazingOti How did you attach the rungs? Were they welded on or screwed through the beams?

  • and how long are the actual poles? I'm guessing you need around 15 feet or more.

  • @KevinDSchap Welded. I don't know how long the actual poles are but I'd guess around eight feet. It doesn't matter either way.

  • lol is there a place where you can buy one of these or do you pretty much have to make it yourself?

  • You have to build it yourself for the most part. I'd build one for you, but with the cost of materials and shipping, it wouldn't be worth it on your part.

  • @TheAmazingOti yeah thts what i figured, lol thx anyway

  • Great video Oti!

  • Thank yoooou, although this is rather old.

Look how short my hair was! :(

  • Watch out for the new double salmon ladder it's evil....well actually it's the same with a few very pointless differences i hope to see you at sasuke 26

  • Yeah, I saw it in 25. It doesn't look much harder. Just longer.

    Thanks! :)

  • cool pants

  • Sure.

  • That was impressive Oti. You say it's not hard, but I think it's definitely the toughest part of Stage 2. You should put down some pads though. If you are going all out & miss at the top, that's gonna be a rough fall.

  • Check out my double frontflip. I can handle rough falls. :P

  • @TheAmazingOti That is how a man has to be. Take rough falls

  • LOL intense execise...and u make it look funny too!

  • It's actually not that intense. It's pretty easy.

  • yes

  • Yes! :D

  • ok.make video!you're good!

  • Have you seen my later videos?

  • Oh yes!

  • this...

  • ...Yes?

  • can you beat it?

  • Yes... It's not hard. :P

  • that was funny nice job same thing as ninja warrior

  • Lol i think its hilarious that you fall on the ground after you've completed it XD good job dude

  • How did you keep your Salmon Ladder sturdy? Cause I'm thinking about building one but I'm not sure how to keep it sturdy.

  • Cement. Each post is four feet in the ground and cemented.

  • werry nice@ respect

  • woah.... how the f*ck do you get in shape for that :O

  • A lot of pull-ups, climbing and practice.

    That's all. ;)

  • lol you cant jump that high.

  • Lol, way better than you. ;)

  • *sigh* just wait until i post videos kid.

  • I'm waiting, brat...

  • he posted something , its nothing compared to u =B

  • Yeah, I know. It's funny.

  • im waiting too, brat...

  • Yeah, he never posted anything.

  • Why did you not make a stick slider after it? It would make the Ninja Warrior one a lot harder if it had bumps

  • ...What?

  • ur gay u know that??

  • Yeah, you're right. Me being in 800 times better physical condition than you makes me gay.

    You're SO right.

  • isnt salmon a fish?

  • Yes. Yes it is.

  • It's called samon ladder because salmon swim upstream to return home to lay their eggs. This requires alot of strength and stamina on their part which is why it is a good name for this obsticle. How long did it take you to make that Oti?

  • Only a few days.

  • if u r worried about falling moe the mat from ur cliff hangar under it

  • I'm gonna try to get one built. What r the measurements u used for distance between the two beams and between each catch on the beams?

  • Sweet dude! That looks pretty awesome! im impressed

  • dude. this inspires me to put some carpentry into my training

  • i need 1

  • Build one.

  • Thats awesome dude! did you just construct all your equipment out of random stuff?

  • Pretty much. The total cost of the three obstacles I've built is about $0.00.

  • haha epic. Whats the ladder made out of?

  • Salmons. Duh.

My dad's factory has all these big shelf things that consist of two ends and all the beams in between. You put the beams where you want them, lock them in place, then put something on them to make the shelf. You can see these being used in Wal-Mart, etc.

I used the beams welded together (22 ft in total).

  • Time to go try for the last notch!!:p

  • You know it.

  • Nah, climbing the notches works fine. :D

I have a landing pad, I just don't have it down yet. I don't really need it.

    Thanks for watching. :D
