Some other videos compare them on a two-by-two basis, so you easily loose perspective of Earth size or even Sun size. I've been messing around with galactic scales. For exaple...think of the sun as a sphere in the palm of your hand 109mm across. The earth is a sphere 1mm across, about 38feet away from the sun. The nearest star to the sun, Proxima Centauri, is a sphere 15.5 mm across and is 1934.57 miles away. At this distance light takes 4.2 years to reach Proxima Centauri. Each object that has gravity would have an "event horizon" so to speak so you just have to think in scale. Eventually there's a certain distance that an object would orbit a star like Antares, since it's so huge, planets would have to be really far from it compared to the distance of our Sun's gravity affecting the outer limits of our solar system. Even stars orbit black holes. They're far enough that black holes don't suck them in and can have a stable orbit around it.
