  • Mhh... Turkey..

  • I just LOVE gobbling *^*

  • I want to live there! I'd love to have them hanging around a lot. Gorgeous!

  • That 3 turkeys >>>>> Alvin & the chipmunks xD

  • Surprising how they are not affraid as long as you are in the car . But as soon as you go out of the car they go away. the faster you advance the faster they flea.

  • @explorateurdesairs - Oh, I stayed in the car the whole time. They're just taking their good ole time getting out of my way. :-) There are seriously that many around here, the flocks pass through the yard sometimes but they definitely don't let you get close. One neighbor told me he was bitten by one once. Neighborly wives tale? Probably.

  • I hate those domestic turkeys, they gobble at everything especially in heat. Cant camp without them going off all night. =P

  • i want to talk to a turkey :D hahah thier gobble is awesome! =]

  • Haha i wish i had toms like that in oklahoma. walk around 5 yards in front of me and pay me no mind.

  • Crazy ass turkeys :D

  • there not a pure wild flock , bc if they were u wouldnt be able to get within 100 yards

  • Yeah, I've been told they're probably mixed with some breed of domestic. But like I said, living in a wooded area and being able to see flocks and flocks of these roaming around = wild enough for me! It's just funny, they're always crossing the roads!! :-D

  • those are either mixed or full blood Bronze turkeys. a domestic breed. no wild turkeys would be that big- even when puffed out

  • That very well could be. There are flocks of them all over the area. You see groups of thirty at a time sometimes. Some of them are white or light tan, which makes me think they've been mixed with a domestic breed.

But they roam around so...that equals wild enough for me :-)

  • @Shannon0310

I 'm down to one pair of turkeys as pets cos it's become too expensive.

my 8 did their 'giggles' in sync as if 1 brain.

Of my many poultry, turkey behavior is almost as loyal as dogs as they'd spend the day gardening by my side, I miss them.

They were domestic, looked just yours in vid & makes me smile :D

    You're so lucky :)

  • So cuteee, we have alot of them here in Connecticut, theyre always doing a semi circle dance to the hens lmao its so cute. I dont think we're allowed to hunt them in my area tho

  • what a turkey hunter would do to see longbeards prancing around like that

  • Oh they're all over. Sometimes so many you have to stop the car and wait and wait for them to get out of the way. I swear you could almost walk right up to them. Usually you just see a lot of smaller females, but these guys were nice and puffed up on this day. Haha.

  • where i live, it'll take you all season to kill 2

  • there showing me there ass...

  • aww theyre so cute and funny!

i want to see a live turkey one day

  • @ilikepie442 Usually when i see a wild gobbler, they are in front of my 12 guage :)

  • @ProXECHOx ._.

  • can you shoot them. Are they protected or wild game .

  • I would never! But I know people that do. There is a turkey season. I think it's around this time of year.

  • I bet it is . Happy Thanksgiving from Ireland . We have a Shannon here which is flooding the countryside badly at the moment .

  • Ah, that pesky river ;)

  • poor turkeys

  • that's a great video :) we had turkeys (White Hollands") a few years ago and the Toms did the same thing, all in unison when we chatted with them...it's so cute! I miss them. We had kept one Tom and 2 hens (Giselle and Gobbles - I have videos of them up here) unfortunately the Tom died young and the girls last year :(

I want to raise some again :)

  • Thank you :-) I wouldn't know about raising turkeys, that could be fun. These wild ones just roam around here. The flocks are so big, sometimes 20-30 birds easy. Not always fun waiting for them to cross the road ;)

  • that s SOO cute !!! where d u live ? i ve never seen a wild turkey in my whole life !! i didnt even know they d survive in those temperatures !!:O

  • Western Michigan, near the lake. They're out all year. We see babies in the summer. They hang out in peoples yards. It's funny.

  • WoW that is PRETTY cool !! :)

  • Thanks! :-)

  • yes, yes it is funny. In fact Turkey is probably just one of the worlds most funniest animal names right up there with with tufted titmouse.

  • LMFAOO!! Thats so COOL!!! they gobble with you!

  • so cute

  • I wish we had turkeys and/or coyotees. We don't get anything at all.

  • whre d u live ?

  • LMFAO! thats sweet how the gobble back to you. i get coyotees so howl at me but thats it.

  • thats it?

    lol

i get lucky if i see a dead animal on the road!

    lol

    jk
