Wow, i can't believe there are Luke-haters out there. Luke's sarcastic personality fits Lorelai's quirkyness almost to a fault. But at the end, Luke is here ALL the time, not just certain seasons you can cherrypick from.

I don't know what show you're watching, but in this one, Luke is perfect for Lorelai, and everytime Chris comes into the picture, shit hits the fan for Lorelai, just like Rory predicted.

I may be a guy but I liked this show and I liked how they potrayed the Luke character. As a guy myself it was great to see a show that has a male character that is not the most confident and has trouble with his emotions and doesnt allways know what to do with relationships. It was just great to see instead of those over confident think they are so great can get any girl type guys you see in other shows.

No one knows what Luke was like when he was 18-30, meaning that's kind of irrelevant.

And I, in no way, paint Luke as perfect. Luke is far from perfect, but I do believe that he's the perfect man for Lorelai.

Anyway, we're both entitled to our own opinions.
