allergretto... right this is less than allegro... less than 120bpm..
what i need to know is, whats the best speed for this to be played at?
to be honest cant even get the fast bits doing the same speed at you krps82, but nice playing how long does it take to grasp the tricky fast bits.. and the Db scale.??
It was definitely very good, but as someone said you do seem to raise your fingers quite a bit and i think it may have *slightly* affected the fiddly faster bits. But then I have the same problem with this one haha.
Nice sound overall, a little pitchy on the beginning "F", "E", "G", "F" (throat register), and some fumbled runs, but a nice job overall. Keep up the good work. What are you playing next? I can't wait to hear it! Top job! :)
Beautifully executed, especially the balance between separation and the legato style that you achieved in your tonguing. What was also impressive was the slight rubato you employed. It really added expressiveness. My only complaint is some slight intonation issues in the throat register, but that's common. Also the entrance at around 5:00 came off as a little hesitant. Otherwise, great work!
i just played this solo last week and got a 1 for uil solo and ensemble... i played the 1st and 4th mov. its so beautiful. and i love how you played it. very nicely done. your tone is amazing. keep doin what you doin. it sounds great! now i can listen to this video and remember my solo from my senior year. thanks for postin.

Thnx, guys, especially for the contrasts comment, We've worked really hard especially in this area. I'll be posting the rest of Sonata and Martinu Sonatina in a short notice. My teacher says that at the beggining of this piece, when the clarinet plays "fa mi sol fa" it seems that it is saying "yo te amo".

I played this piece for my end of school exams back in 2002 and was so lovely to hear it again played so beautifully. Well done!

Very good.
Some minor sound problems are from the studio and not the clarinet
