  • @annghellika Yes, it can be done in a house. Find your directions, make your space, and prepare. I have done many many ceremonies in doors.

    Great video btw...

    Blessed be...

  • Thank You for the most informative viedo! Blessed BE :)

  • Very nice showing, except the missing Goddess object! How can you perform a ritual to the Goddess with out the Goddess??? Sister I feel that to perform a ritual without Honoring the Mother is an insult. But all-N-all Well Met & Merry Be.

  • @chumleys69 Hi, if you look at how we cast the circle, you will notice we have a God candle and a Goddess candle and these two represent the duality of deity. We do not focus only on the Goddess. Smiles from Amethyst

  • Hello thankyou for your beautiful video, im new to the craft i live in OZ too, im curious to know and was wondering if you could answer it for me ? i was born on the 21 of June, does this have some kind of symbolic meaning of some kind ? or any ( special ) um -benefits ! sorry not sure what word to pop in there, iv'e always felt different to everyone else, and felt like i have a higher earth connection, i have amazing parental instincts, am slightly psychic and have visions at random, 21 june?JD

  • This is a great video - my only problem is figuring out which way is north!!!

I don't have a compass, and I am directionally impaired. I'd use a spell to help with that ... but I can't until I find north. So, as you can see, there is a bit of a loop happening.

  • @WiccaNightEmber If you remember two things.1: Noddy Eats Shredded Wheat which stands for North, East, South, West. Then 2: remember that the sun always rises in the East regardless of where you live. If the sun rises in the East and you face where the sun rises, then going clockwise, south is to your right, west behind you and north is to your right.

    Smiles, Amethyst

  • @Amethyst2Z

You seems to have two directions to your right there O.o

Now, where's Noddy when we need him?

Else all things are great except for the cars going by.

  • Thank you for this video amythest, it was very enlightening since I havent long been wiccan since my friend has been helping, your dress is beautiful :} Blessed be )O( x

  • stunning dress

  • This was wonderful! My coven members and I find this very informative and useful! Thank you! :) )O(

  • use say Idear like me!!!!

  • what was the special occation for this?

i appologise if this is a silly question.

  • @Piggiesunshine Not a silly question but there was no special occasion other than the normal Esbat. :)

  • @Piggiesunshine it is not silly the theater is silly ioi ok

  • Nice video. Love the whole log as your altar!

    BTW re:

    ( O ) or ) O (

As some of you mentioned this does derive from the phases of the moon. In the northern hemisphere the moon does do this:

    )O(

And thuis we get the symbol for the triple goddess, HOWEVER...

In the southern hemisphere it actually does this:

    (O)

That is, the new moon in the southern hemisphere looks like this ( where the new moon in the northern hemisphere always looks like ).

  • please tell me if any of you are from sweden! i'm the only swedish wiccan in my town.

  • )O( : Triple Goddess Glyph

  • I love how you planted flowers in correspondence with the elemental corners.

  • blessed be

  • wish i could do this in my back yard but i live in a SMALL town were they look down on any thing thats not Christian....yes i know they are very narrowed minded

  • @pulse0fmagg0ts I do to they look at me like wtf they don't understand me well oh well Christianity i don't understand you as a former christian i find the bible hard to believe bc it is full of contradictions

  • The dress your wearing is beautiful, and you made it on top of that....Inspiring! Thank You! and the information your giving is very appreciated. Bless You Love...

  • thanks for showing how to it correctly. I'm a solitary witch and haven't found a covern yet to help me so videos are helpful. I'd hate to do something wrong bring negative upon myself.

  • can you give me a link to a site, , '

    what is wicca about. .

  • @Amethyst2Z

i really want to become a wiccan

can you teach me a few things about it like a spell ar a ritaual, ,

  • @jessbritt121

    Hi,

Wicca is not just about spells or rituals and in fact Wiccans can be Wiccans without doing either of these things. It is a religion and a way of life.

I'd recomend looking at Witchvox site and finding a group in your area, approach them and ask if they are prepared to teach you.

    Many smiles and good luck,

    Amethyst

  • what the heck does ( O ) mean. .

    im still learning wicca

  • @jessbritt121

Hi, I'm not sure what you are asking? Perhaps you could be more specific and I will try and answer for you.

    Smiles,

    Amethyst

  • @jessbritt121

  • @Amethyst2Z

i really want to become a wiccan

can you teach me a few things about it like a spell ar a ritaual, ,

  • @Amethyst2Z I think what jessbritt121 means is the )0(..

  • @Amethyst2Z I think what jessbritt121 means is the )0(..

  • @Amethyst2Z i think jessbritt121 meant )O(

  • @jessbritt121 I believe you mean )O( its the triple moon goddess symbol (stands for maiden, mother and crone)

  • @jessbritt121 I think you mean when people put it at the bottom of posts like this: )O(

its a representation of the goddess symbol of waxing crescent, full moon, and waning crescent/ maiden, mother, crone.

  • @jessbritt121

you mean )O( it means triple moon, the sign of the goddess

it is a very powerful and sacred symbol

  • @jessbritt121 If you mean )O( If that is the symbol your asking about it is the symbol of the goddess. It's a crescent moon, full moon, crescent moon. The three stages of the moon waxing, waning, full. Hope this helps. Blessed Be...

  • @jessbritt121 Turn It To where It Looks Like This )O( It's A Symbol That Stands For The Godess

  • @jessbritt121 " )0( " This is the symbol of the Goddess... it is the phases of the moon

  • @jessbritt121 The symbol is supposed to look like this )0(.... it represents the Goddess

  • @jessbritt121 it's supposed to be )0( but it is a symbol representing the triple goddess also known as simply the goddess very similar to the trinity in Christianity it represent the maiden, the mother, and the crone

  • @jessbritt121 I think you mean )O( and this represents the phases of the moon, or goddess. That is ) representing the growing moon or the maiden, O the full moon or the mother, and ( representing the waning moon or the crone. Hope this helps.

  • @jessbritt121 You mean )O( ? that's the goddess symbol. (waxing, full moon and waning moon)

  • Those Birds sound so beautiful. Truly a nice place to practice. Blessed Be.

    )O(

  • Since you're in the southern hemisphere, I was wondering why you don't reverse the north/south elemental attributions. Also, the reference to deosil makes me think you do things clockwise. It seems to me that that should also be reversed, since the sun travels in that direction for you.

  • Good point but one that's difficult in Australia. Some covens cast widdershins, some deosil and some a combination. Some swap their N/S quarters, others don't. Some swap all the Sabbats, some don't. So essentially everyone does whatever feels right for them.

I was born/ raised in UK, so prefer to honour my ancestors and cast clockwise.

As a note, here in Australia, going anti-clockwise would be deosil because deosil means sunwise and not clockwise of course.

    many thanks,

    Amethyst

  • What a great video....this is very helpful:)

  • Thank you for this video. I love your approach to the craft and your respect for the arts. Your gown is beautiful too. I am a sole practicioner, so it's nice to see what other witches are doing. I really hope to see more from you. Blessed be.

  • Wonderful video! Thanks for sharing! ~BB~

  • You're dress is absolutely beautiful!! I made something like that a long time ago, put much effort and some money into it, but I made it a size too small so I couldn't wear it! If I could make it again, I would prolly make it out of similar fabric and I would use it to perform rituals. We ladies love to look our best when performing our Wiccan duties, yes? =D

  • Thank you so much for this very informative post! I am a Young, well, to put it in Lament terms, 'Fluffy Bunny'.

I'm personally struggling with getting the actual circle cast itself. Could you give me some advice on this?

    Blessed be~~

    ~~Imiko.

  • Hi Imiko, if you can hang on a couple of weeks, I'll be posting a video that shows you how to cast a circle. It should help you I reckon.

    Smiles,

    Amethyst

  • beautiful wardrobe. I love the representations that are used too to depict the quarters. Absolutely beautiful as well as educational

  • i thought you were supposed to draw a circle in white chalk.

  • There is nothing wrong with drawing the circle in chalk, but most Wiccan groups that I have been associated do not create any physical representation of the circle. They just clear enough space for someone to go around and cast the circle in the air, using an atheme, wand, incense, shell or whatever feels right.

  • Actually the form used here is the oldest circle drawing method and predates the usage of chalk. Besides there are only a few High magickal ceremonies that require the use of physically drawn circles. Note: Low Magick is the most common form of magick.

  • I like you vid and I like to see what other witches do thanks :)

It is odd as over here we celebrate the Summer Solstice on 21st of june.

I hope Yule went well for you

Hope you had a good Yule

  • Hi, after the wand I held up the athame which is probably the most popular tool for a Wiccan. It is a double bladed knife and is used to cast the circle.

    Smiles,

    Amethyst

  • What was the knife called?

After the wand, what did you call it?

    And please include it's purpose.

    thank you

  • Thanks Sammi my friend, appreciated!
