I was adicted to this table in the 90's and went round the clock almost 3 times on one 10p. with all the free games acumulated along the way was on it for nearly 3 hour !!
Seriously? Bragging about a score of 16 million? My high score is nearly 40 million with dozens of games over 15 million and I don't even own the machine. That said, your machine looks like it's in great shape and I'm seriously jealous of you owning one, LOL.
@CoachTabe 16Million is not even worth mentioning.. my best score ever on this machine.. is 196M that is an tremendous score.. but i am an pro player.. like bowen kerins/ keith elwin.. my name is Roy Wils.. 1 of the very top players in the world
The only thing I really disliked about Funhouse was the end of ball bonus. You only got points for hitting Rudy, and no bonus multiplier, which I always thought was kinda cheap. Still my 3rd favorite Lawlor table, after TZ and Roadshow. The layout of this table is practically flawless.
I've skipped a lot of classes on this table. One of my fav's. Relatively simple layout with just enough gimmicks. Tons of replayability and character. I remember the paddles being a bit soft on the machine I played, but Rudy rules. Barf multiball!!
As an aside, Man or Astroman has a song about this table called Rudy's Funhouse.
I usually don't go for the skill shot. The points are just so-so and the ball is wild. I soft plunge and go for a mirror shot. That gets me to extra ball and super frenzy much faster.
I love Funhouse. I had one, traded it and missed it from the day it left. Finally I got myself another one. Out of all my games I really love flipping around Funhouse. It's never leaving again. One of my favorites.
I have this on emulator, but it's not the same as playing the actual machine. I remember playing this in a pizza hut and got two free games in a row once.
My highscore is a little over 23 million. But that's on the wii version of "Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection". I bet if I found the real thing again I would suck balls (no pun intended :P)
I remember stopping at a truck stop with my dad and they had an arcade room with this game. I remember how much it creeped me out. I was so freaked...I HAD to play it.
You should upgrade your sound ROM to get the special light show during the million plus & high score entry! The latest game ROM also fixes the timing issue with the hidden hallway shots.
Spectacular! Great vid I have been looking for a FunHouse. Yours is in Fantastic condition great job on the shopping The machine looks BRAND NEW! Did you use LEDS in place of bulbs and is the DMD display stock? It appears as if some of the Numerals are in different colors.

@metahugh good for you! I played a couple of Funhouse tables at CA Extreme and the Seattle show that had been all LED'd up. Yuck.

The trick is to get those Frenzies. Then you can really stack up some points.
synt4x3rr0r 2 years ago
@synt4x3rr0r Oh the william's collection? It's by far the best pinball game on that in my opinion. I totally agree though I would suck at this.

@Hotdogbunker Yeah I agree. It is the machine I fire up first when playing that game. Then I usually go to Taxi :)
synt4x3rr0r 1 year ago
@Hotdogbunker the real table is a LOT harder than the Willams collection!

Just what is it that Rudy has down there, under that trap door? What is it exactly he's trying to hide?
