my crayfish are doing the same but seems like one is curling their tail up all the time... by the way, how do you know if the cray is either a male or female?

Well her holes should look like they've been filled... I'm not an expert. There isn't any particular breeding season so i would just separate them for a week or two and see if her swimmerets start looking like they have tiny eggs on them. She might need the alone time to be able to lay eggs. good luck.

how do you know when the female is fertalized? cuz i hav sum crayfish and they keep doin this but i never see any eggs ive had them for about two weeks and they hav dun it at least 12 times lol

I don't know how many times they do it - I let mine mate 3 times. I kept them in separate tanks and only put them together for mating. The female always avoided the male so I assumed she would be less stressed if I kept them apart. I suggest partitioning your tank once the female is fertilized.
