This movie is absolute GARBAGE!!!!!!! Barrow goes for 63 days without a sunrise, yet the sun gets close enough to the horizon to lighten the sky. There's no sheriff there, planes fly there 365 days a year, population 4600, they don't all flee town in winter, they don't sell alcohol! Oh yea and I've never seen so many white people in Barrow! Worst movie of the decade.

LOL nah man I have two friends who used to do a radio show on Barrow's one and only station...KBRW. The place really is pretty cool to visit in summer - no night just day! They said though the whole town laughed at how wrong the movie got things. But it is definitely a horror flick. Have a happy holiday.

umm....there is also no such thing as cars that transform into 60ft robots but it still makes a sweet movie. Its just a movie, I like how you say its a bad movie because its not 100% factual to the town..umm last time I checked the existence of vampires isn't exactly factual either.

umm no, there are plenty of movies that take place in major cities that are filmed in entirely different places that people familiar with that city would notice, Feverpitch taking place in Boston is one example. its a fucking movie, let me guess you think 300 was terrible because it wasn't 100% factual also. I said films/shows that TAKE PLACE in certain cities don't distort those places like 30 Days of Crap distorted Barrow...i.e. there's no sheriff there, planes fly there year round, etc.
