I feel for you. I wish more folks emulating MLK existed today. I only see blacks like Aaron McGruder of "The Boondocks" trying to get blacks to break away from the coonery and glorifying of criminal behavior.
The racist whites of the past have won when, instead of choosing to "drink from the river of prosperity", blacks have glamorized being buffoons, participating in criminal behavior, and prison life (while not mentioning all the gay rape).
I am currently a student at ASU and I am wondering what you mean "it's ASU what do you expect @Thatlovegirl12" I am highly educated and suffering for these students poor decisions on how to spend their time at this institution of higher learning BUT, I continue to fight adversity set upon me by people of opposite color and now even those of my own. You should want to speak life into our people and our education systems not judge, your comment makes you look just as ignorant as those involved.
Alabama...full of wild Black people. I don't think those niggas know they free. I have fam in Bama so I can speak. HBCU are joke nowadays. They are animals.
@bamainatlanta Thank you suga pie. If I can get just a few to understand that there is a better way to handle our differences than to "lay hands" on others, I will be content.
@fourcorneredroom The emphasis is on entertainers in the clips because ASU produces great ones. However, EVERY person on there as an entertainer is an EDUCATOR as well. Their work in the community speaks for itself. I don't have shots of them in the classrooms, community centers, or in churchs and youth centers, but I can guarantee you they are doing their part.
I do agree with you that I emphasized the cost of the facility one too many times. I guess I'm outdone with the abuse of it. SAD

the administration and the currents students are doing a poor job of trying to counter the damage done to that school's image.
good attempt, but I wonder why all the clips featured entertainers when you're emphasizing academics.
also don't understand why you mention the cost of the dining hall so many times.
For there to have been a full brawl in a public place in the middle of the day, the school looks to be poorly managed....and too easy to get into.
