Do you recommend Zoysia over Buffalo or Bermuda grass in the Austin, TX area? Our exposure is full sun. Which one is the best low maintenance grass of the Zoysia's? Thank you! Great Video.

I do think Zoysia is a good choice. It can take foot traffic from common home lawn wear and tear and it is not quite as invasive in flower beds as bermudagrass.However it needs regular mowing with a sharp blade to look its best. I would look for El Toro or Pallisades or JaMur Zoysia in the Austin area.

In phoenix, AZ Bermuda is most common and typicaly unwanted, I some how just got Emerald Zoysia grass growing naturaly and it looks great. Its even choking out the Bermuda that was previously there. Over Bermuda and Buffalo I recomend Zoysia; over St. Augustine I would take the St. Augustine.
