Boradors are among the best crosses - the intelligence and enthusiasm of a Border Collie and the sweetness and dependability of a Lab. Our girl, almost 2, is incredibly smart and has boundless energy. She absolutely loves people, making her the worst watch dog in the world, but the most trustworthy around strangers and kids. She's never met a kid that didn't deserve and immediate lick on the face. She's now a svelte 67 lbs. after arriving as a shelter dog at 38 lbs at 8 mos. Love her!
@BuddleiaChic97 i am getting mine from a humane society. it was left to defend for itself.. it was chained up to a tree when they found her and the society questioned his owner and said that it looked good skinny.... she is a 8 month old lab x collie too.
@BuddleiaChic97 Right on! I rescued a (now) 4 months old labrador mixed with something and he's the cutest thing ever. Extremely active, yet impressively obedient. I rescued it from the streets of Bogotá, Colombia (I am here for work) and am always shocked at the amount of street dogs.
Buying poppies should be not allowed... Well at times I do think that.
@jellysox..Ive had one for years and it looks and acts same way, and its honestly the best dog ive ever had. I seem to notice that like in all lab collie mixes, when they get real excited they really want to put something in their mouth. If you train them not to bite in the first few months then it's fine. My dog pretends like its going to bite something around it, (anything like the wall or something) and just like opens her mouth around it but doesn't shut it. anyways, good dogs.
We just got a puppy that looks identicle white socks, white chest and a small white spot on her tail, we know she is chocolate lab, and the vet said she thinks border collie.... she's awesome :)

Looks exactly like my lab/collie dog Vegas when she was a pup. Shes just over a year old now and already weights over 70 pounds
