I am all for preserving HAWAII and MY CULTURE... If the ferry took the longer route (which the cruise ships take) and went slower in the water (which the cruise ships go at less than half the ferrys speed)there wouldnt be as big of a problem with the whole EIS thing, I think that they should only let the amount of cars that leave Kauai be able to come here (100 cars comming from Oahu vs. 15 cars leaving Kauai doesnt make sense to me)....

Riding the ferry & killing whales: $5
Watching protestors make the ferry turn around: priceless

Why should cars be allowed onto the ferry at all? A waste of space IMHO.

They let cars on bcuz its a ferry. If it were just a boat then they wouldn't
