I saw the 1989 movie 14 times in the theater and loved it, but I'd have to say Dark Knight is the best Batman movie overall. Anyway, I bought this set yesterday at the LEGO store, and got 5 bucks off with my VIP points. Can't wait to put it together. The Batcave is next.

man in 08 i only got one lego batman set and it was the robing and penguin one i still have both of the figures and veichles and one day i went to the lego store and they got rid of the lego batman sets but the guy told me there coming back in late 2011 so until then i've been waiting and now i only need the batcave set right now

Ah, the comic books; the prickly issue that alot of us would probably skip right over, but it's good you bring up some of those points. The lack of dialogue I can understand 'cos then Lego can send the same print out to any country they want but the end result is more like a serving suggestion than a comic, not that many people are gonna lose sleep over it hopefully. That said a fully fledged comic, maybe A5 sized, would be cool. Lego's gaming crossover has an all ages appeal, why not comics?
